Ok guys out on the Voge with the wife for Brunch, it's even more impressive with a passenger, it's taken it from being a good bike to a superb bike, the difference in throttle and slow speed riding is incredible. General riding is so smooth, in all honesty I'm blow away.
I've literally just followed your instructions and done the update, taking her out now. Hoping to have the same result as you🤞🤞 probably going to recalibrate the throttle again as well. I really appreciate your efforts getting information about this bike out to other owners, no disrespect to the dealers but they're way behind you! Cheers James
just came back from my first ride on 4.4 and i am super happy. it really is amazing how different the bike feels now. going slow speed in dense city traffic is super smooth, no more roughness in low rpm. after update completion my bike turned on with black screen a few times like on yours, thank god i was prepared for that happening. otherwise i would have shit my pants probably lol. the update itself was simple and as described in tutorial, woth one minor difference - it was eight eight's as password and not seven. android would not let me set the password to 7 characters anyways, so it was easy to figure out. whole process was 5 minutes at most. thanks so much for the files and your content in general ❤❤❤

I have realised it is 8 numbers of 8s in the password I will update my video description. I must of done it automatically, the Chinese version says 7. The black screen is a worry and I had a few expletives as my bike was running with a black screen. It seems that the system is updating service interval and mileage per gallon etc. you need to reset the trip for the consumption figure to start working again and also the date and time. It definitely makes the bike up there or above a lot of other bikes now. Superb bike, build and price. ✌️

@@nitronelly1 They are now installing the V 4.4 update at the 10 k service, but you might get yours at the 1k first service. If yours gets snappy on the throttle try the throttle reset in my videos. I have just re done it on my bike with 4.4 it was great for a couple of thousand KMs, now it's smooth again so looks like it's an occasional reset that's needed. Enjoy your new bike. ✌️

It’s been ‘Ok ‘ from The get go, but not outstanding. I always knew with the components that it should be very good. Honestly I was prepared to put up with the little qwerks due to the amazing price point, this update will change everything. This bike is now as good as the f900gs and then some due to its incredible specification. It’s a brilliant motorcycle
Fantastic news & review for those with the 900 & thinking of buying. A guy I know wants one & yesterday was only offered £2k for his 9month old bike, that was £5k for from the very same dealer. Needless to say, he's extremely disappointed in the dealer & won't be buying from them.
@@keepitreal1547 That’s a major knock on his old bike, tell him to sell private. The 900 DSX will be a game changer, it Will retain its value better, plus it will bring brand recognition in a year or so. It’s crazy here in Spain, Voge dealers just don’t see Voge bikes returning with problems like other bikes, only for servicing.
@@motechRevolution It really is, especially as the dealer will be asking atleast £3,500 - £4k for it. So they want to make a good profit on the sale of the new bike & the part exchanged bike. Quite greedy & disgusting in my view. Yes, he's now thinking of selling privately. Definitely the way forward for him & I would say most who have bikes to sell. I spoke with a dealer last week & asked if he could get the Voge, his reply was, I don't do Chinese garbage. I thought where has he been living recently, in a cave. Chinese bike will definitely equal & better the Japanese brands, especially value for money...already are doing with Voge, MT & Benelli being the No1 best selling bike in Italy. Anyway great reviews pal, keep them coming...it's darn cold here this morning at only 3degree 🥶

@@vitorluis3561 hi, the service interval on version 4.1 was set at 5k after the 4.4 update it's automatically changed to 10k. I'm not sure about version 4.2 that some people have. I was going to do a throttle reset, but when I did a more comprehensive ride covered in the above video it was super smooth, so unless it goes jerky I will leave it as is. Once I realised it wasn't the voge number on the instructions I was reading but the voge number on the screen the whole process went ok. The screen went black for a short time even when the engine was running, 3 restarts and it was back fine and no problems now. I think it was the background items resetting, like the clock and next service interval etc. Great ride out this morning with my wife and super smooth. Also the engine note has less rattling, I'm assuming from a different fueling map, air fuel etc. But is running amazing now, feels like a different bike.
One other thing, I cant seem to create a hotspot from my phone because to create one it has to be at least 8 chars long, and if i understood right, the pwd should be 7 eights 😅
@@vitorluis3561 on the bike screen, the area where it says account that is the hotspot name. Type it exactly to rename your phones hotspot. After the last digit leave one space. The password is 8888888 once you get that right then the tick will illuminate and you can press it. Then just make sure your mobile hotspot is turned on. A WiFi 🛜 symbol will then appear on the display. Start the engine go to the update app on your phone check the top and bottom 2 items to install then hit the Arrow at the bottom of the page

In deutscher Sprache kommt beim einschalten der Zündung die Meldung " Zündschlüssel nicht erkannt" im Display. 3. In deutscher Sprache erscheint bei "My Vehicle" das Foto des Rollers von VOGE und nicht der DS 900 X.
Hi , Thank you for all your reviews. I bought one , still running it in but enjoying it very much. I will see if the dealer updates to 4.4 (currently 4.2) at the 1st service. Are you able to do a short video on the rear pre load adjust for solo and solo with luggage. Download manual states to move the adjuster a certain amount of positions ie from furthest anti clockwise turn 6 positions clockwise for solo ?. Thank you Again
I've just been in touch with MotoGB, the UK importers and asked them if they'll update my bike to V4.4 when it goes in for service next week. They say they will but it's a screen update only and not an ECU refresh and it will make zero difference to the running of the bike.
@@davewalker1327 That means they don't want to be doing everyone's bikes. Mine is totally different if it doesn't affect the ECU you could not change the ride by wire modes. Version 4.1 didn't have it. Also mine is totally different the fueling is different, the throttle response is different. It's riding completely different around.

Hi, I've just purchased a DS900X in the UK. Can I ask how many key fobs came with your bike? I only have one which does not make sense to me. Appreciate your input.
@@peterdrummond8076 Yes you only get one remote fob, plus it’s internal key, plus a spare key. All can be cloned at a key specialist. Crazy I know. But that’s how it is.
@@motechRevolution Thanks for the speedy response but I do not understand. I only have one electronic fob talking to the bike, if it fails I only have metal spare keys. It may be me but I don't get how these can be made to talk to the bike. But as you say this is the way it is. Thanks again and keep up the excellent content. 😁👍
@@peterdrummond8076 if your main fob fails there is a chip in the spare key, hold the spare key next to the start button and you will be able to start the bike. You then need to replace the fob battery ASAP it's all in the user manual
Been reading alot about heat on the left leg. Any issues in the heat of Spain? I know you talked about heat in the seat when you tried the gel, but what about heat on the left side?
@@dgrolfe I never really noticed any left leg heat until we had a cool morning. I’m guessing and I could be wrong that the fuel air mixture was off. It will be interesting to see if there’s a switch the 4.4 update. I’ll keep you guys updated
Is there any voge statement where to indicate what changes in 4.4 have been? Are you sure that voge is changing motor configuration without having an official communication of the brand?
@@rapalaocho Not that I'm aware of in Europe, although lots users in Russia seem to have had the 4.4 for a while. VOGE is the brand and owned by Loncin. Most ride by wire bikes have map update options, but very few people change them, they just ride what they have bought. Often main dealerships will only install a new update if there is a problem with the bike. Anyone can change a bike map with a power commander unit and chip, so the tech has been around for a while. It won't be long before we get a third party re map kit for the DSX. But as of now, it's up to the individual if they do it at home or at a voge dealer. The 4.4 update is official and my bike dealer messaged to say they have it in a workshop a couple of hours away. So I would advise anyone wanting the 4.4 update to go to your dealership, if you don't want to take the risk of installing yourself. Ride safe ✌️
ok .4.4 update definitely drawn my attention. Presently I am at Castellon Spain ,returning to Athens this Monday morning . Directly after airport will update on 4.4 .Thanks for the feedback. Just a clarification since I bought my dsx in Greece believe the files and apks are the same for all worldwide models correct??
@@nkatech yes it’s the same thing worldwide, the APK is in Chinese but to be honest once it’s connected by WiFi hotspot there is only one tab to press on your phone screen. Thanks for your comments ride safe ✌🏻
@@David-m7f3g take the top box and side boxes of and you drop 15kg. Leave the racks on they weigh nothing. It does ride a lot lighter without them especially off road

@@motechRevolution great to know 👌 but i thought the service interval was always 10k, regardless of OS version. It cones in the manual...
@@vitorluis3561 it was supposed to be, but for some reason the 4.1 software had it set to 5k the BMW engine has always been 10k

@@IanjamesMiller mine had it's first service this week and the dealer didn't do the upgrade. I did it myself today.

Are you using E5 98 octane fuel which is recommended. Mine is super smooth
