Very good basic video. I just purchased a carrera digital set replacing my SCX digital set. On my SCX track I had installed red stop buttons for each driver to use that killed power to the track. With smart race it looks like I can replace all that work with smart app. My question is can I set up cheap tablets on track for each race driver ? Smart app uses wifi to access the internet and server, so cellular is not needed? Any suggestions on doing this rather than have the racers use their personal cell phones? Thanks.

got the smart race app ..but its not letting me re-fuel , any suggestions ?. it shows the fuel consumption from 100% down to 0% but when i hit the pits it will not fill..? also dont seem to assign contollers correctly..or can you assign the controllers via app? what am I doing wrong..thx

One more question, once or twice during the night of racing we seem to have to restart the system. When we do this, everyone has to rescan the qr code. Have you found a way to keep the IP address of the race system static? That way, when they come back next week the IP address could be the same as the week before.
