      Actually it's uploaded and unlisted because it needed a couple edits. Then the hard drive crashed so we're working on it. Currently have 5 videos in post on that drive. So yeah that's been great🙄

    Looks great. QQ. Did you use KDSS spacers to eliminate the passenger side lean? Or did you use spacers on the passenger side strut and rear spring? At those lift numbers it does not look to be leaning so wondering what path you took.

    • @CodyCrafted
      @CodyCrafted  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Great question, no spacers. That's what the adjustment in the coilovers, combined with KDSS neutralization is for. Every vehicle that leaves my shop (with adjustable parts, can only do so much with leaf springs) is leveled to within ¼ inch or less, usually less. If you have quality parts, park on dead flat ground, and open the valves it'll level back out whenever it gets off a little. The shims and spacer stuff is a bandage IMO. That's why I prefer a true coilover in the front, so it can be dialed in. Now, a vehicle like this doesn't get a full corner weighting unless the customer specifically request to, but I find they stay true enough that nobody ever calls me about it even years later.

      @@CodyCrafted Great info. Thanks! I had a Dobinson on my 4R. Front 300/700 and rear 599/705. I don't want to run 285s as it won't fit in the spare location on the GX. Running 265/70/17s with the FN Pro bronze. Very similar to your wheel choice here except it's an 8" wheel with 0 offset. Pushes out and flush with the fenders. My 4R lift is the same one I was going to do this spring on my GX. For my use a mild 1.5 front and 1 in the rear is fine. Plus my wheel/tire combo won't look lost with this height. As you know these are not adjustable so was curious how you got such a level stance. Now I know :) I'll likely use KDSS spacers in the rear and see how it sits. I have BudBuilt skids and I know KDSS spacer in the front won't work with their front skid plate.... trying to avoid that! Again, great work and I know from experience sliders can be challenging. They look great as well as centered on the truck.

    This looks great. I have a 2017 Luxury trim with air suspension that I am going to start upgrading a little at a time. It looks like you are in North Texas is that correct? Just curious what something like this set up would run for mine.

    Good stance to give clearance but stay streetable. Hopefully braided steel brake hoses and some sturdy skidplates are on the to-do list if it will see any real action.

    Awesome build! How about the air suspension delete? Any issues?

    • @CodyCrafted
      @CodyCrafted  ปีที่แล้ว

      No air on this one. Its only on Luxury models and they're actually pretty rare. Even more rare for their owners to want to mod them, on a relatively low production vehicle. It's the 1% of the 1% of the 1%

      Well I have a Luxury with air suspension in the back, factory MTS too, but do use it for its intended purpose hehehe. I want to lift it but I get rather conflicting info as to how to not get a constant dash light for the air bag delete. @@CodyCrafted

    The gx460s having the same type of adjustable suspension the LX570 does, could one install a dobinsons kit on a 15 LX570 sir?

    • @CodyCrafted
      @CodyCrafted  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      LX and GX do not have the same systems at all. However parts and methods are available to remove the AHC system from 2008-2015 (16+ is different). I can tell you that Dobinsons MRR on a 200 chassis is phenomenal. Feel free to contact me for more info

    Hi.
    I am going to install IMS suspension with 2" lift and 30mm spacers.
    My tire size is 265/65/R17
    I hope this is sufficient to prevent any rollovers.

    • @CodyCrafted
      @CodyCrafted  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      30mm rear spacers or front?

      @kanevivalakane3699 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CodyCrafted all 4 wheels to widen them

    • @CodyCrafted
      @CodyCrafted  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kanevivalakane3699 ah, well.... I would say that that isn't a real concern, tire clearance, track width, and looks, yes but for rollovers it's not enough to make a difference on a vehicle that's already top heavy and then lifted. Personally not a fan of spacers anyway (although I use them very rarely in certain circumstances). Especially on a vehicle where there are a million good wheel options. Stock wheels are very narrow for most all terrain tire sizes

      This one hasn't been in the shop since your question. There's another GX in the shop right now that's 76" to the top of the stock rails with 24" rear fender to center of rear hub measurement. That particular truck is one of the taller ones we've done with nearly 3" of front lift and 275/70-18 BFG m/t tires.

      Stock black lugs for a 4runner or tacoma. Or go to discount and get spline lugs
