Thank you for posting this -- on your last few compilations the singers have been so uniformly good that it's been more about how I like the song than how well they sang it. That French lady, Jade, absolutely killed it. Yikes. I apologize for not getting back to you about your compilations on Vimeo. Thank you very much for posting the list!
I was thoroughly enraptured, spellbound, from start to finish. Such singular voices have the power to transport us to another level --- an elevation of the spirit that fulfills a promise of betterment for all humankind. It's impossible for me to "rate" any one of these singers above nor below another because each one added notes of sheer perfection to this collection. Bravo! Bravo! Bravo! ✨✨✨
Wow , Chechi Sarai , I have never heard Anyone start out with that whistle note , and at the end , F-me , just insane ! I know she will get some great pointers , and this woman will be on top of the world ! She was born with more natural ability than 99 percent of the world's singers . I just hope the right people get her where she belongs !
Such a selection of fine singers...I fear becoming the perennial broken record as to their outstanding aspects. But they are bravely putting their self and artistry out there for us all. For an emotional impact, Vlad with the Blues...Elena Popova, Kim Schutzius, Elena Popova, Aleksandra Pogulyai, Joslynn Rose and Jade Mathieu were standouts. In other words, almost everybody! Although, as usual, the French singer won me over with style. Thanks to jefflarson 1652 for noting for us the Ukraine special voice...and thanks as usual to pureemotion who treats us all so well. (special thanks for the Vimeo treats and compilations)

Wow! It’s still so difficult for me to grasp how Chechi began her song with the whistle note, instead of working up to it later in the song! 🤯 That takes incredible control! Vlad shredded on that guitar and would be able to find work as a guitarist, even if he didn’t end up going too far with his voice (which was lovely). Joslynn has such a great tone and sense of how to navigate a song for only 16 years old! And how awesome was it to see Aleksandra back on the Voice Ukraine?!? 😁 💕💕 this one, Pure! 💁🏻♀️
@@MikeEgypte As @igormin.2880 indicated the blind auditions, I leave the link to the battles, where Aleksandra left The Voice after losing in the battles: th-cam.com/video/RJD5yUNRR6U/w-d-xo.html
It appears Aleksandra Pogulyai was also on season 7 of the Voice Ukraine. I found the video, but not the "rest of the story" as to what happend afterwards that year. That year she sang Chandalier and did very well having two judges turn. Some critics did not like that she didn't hit the high notes (actually appears she did not try but did it within the limits of her voice--and did very well ((me and 2 judges))) She was age 21 then, from Zaporhiza (sp) region. If I read the captions correctly she used to work on the voice or similiar as an intern, handing the microphone to others and telling them to calm down everything will be ok, but that now it is her turn to try. So now go expore yourself if you wish, but a question to anyone who can answer the question of how far she went in the competition as my searchs could not find her name on the list on wikipedia for season 7. Ahh, it has captions that translate by Google. Tell me if you know how she progressed this year.
@MikeEgypte I will never delete your links, you have unrestricted access to place links in your comments my friend! Aleksandra left The Voice in battle in 2017. Let's root for her this year 🤩
Thanks @@pureemotionmusic I can't seem but to look for little extra things behind the up front story. Many others probably already know what I post, not sure.
Out of contestants with one spot to fill, stage director for the show, Aleksandra Pogulyai took to the stage. This is why the coaches went up for the group hug.
Thanks for the info ( russia.postsen.com/music/470262/Alexandra-Pogulyai-%E2%80%93-there-weren%E2%80%99t-enough-participants-on-Voice-of-the-Country-13-so-the-stage-director-sang.html is what I found but I can't vouch for its veracity). Sounds like her voice was built for lower notes, but she did pretty well regardless.
Yet more evidence that the French are absolutely screwed up, beyond repair, really. Time and time again, their coaches turn up for mediocre performances, and here is a very special singer who gets only two chairs. It is sad and hilarious at the same time.
Do keep in mind that the coaches have additional considerations that may hinder them from turning. Is their team already complete? Is there a significant imbalance between female/male singers previously selected for their team? Is a broad vocal range critical in a coach's mind? Unless you've had an opportunity to hear each coach's post-audition comments, it's not possible to assess the validity of the choices made. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@ChollaRanch Actually, it is very easy to make the right decision. I have done it for decades, and in exactly the same field these "judges" are. If your decision is predetermined by the presence/absence of a balance/imbalance between male and female talent, then your entire thought process is compromised. But then again, political correctness, and this is exactly what you described, is the very reason cinema and music are in the gutter. By the way, the French made Greta Gerwig president of the Cannes Film Festival Jury. I rest my case.
@@garter13 Certainly, I support your views about today's policy makers in various fields, making determinations via a set of absurdities that skew any hope of rational decision-making. _(N.B._ --- I did NOT say that I actually _agreed_ with them.)
@@ChollaRanch I did not say that you did, either. All I pointed out is that the possible rationale you described is compromised by awful modern politics. The one and only consideration for these judges should be talent -- the talent to perform on a stage. :)

That furor with Alexandra is not connected with her return, but with the fact that the judges knew her as an employee of the Voice.
