Oh my!! What stellar older performances!! I especially love the one by “Queen T.” Hers, the girl that sings “Mad World” and the guy that sings “Lemon Tree” are my favorite ones from China! 💁🏻♀️ 💕
Christina Marie is my favorite out of all these singers. Man could she hit the high notes. This is the first time I've heard anyone sing "Mad World" on The Voice. These old blind auditions are definitely worth revisiting. Thank you for putting this together and posting it. It was fun to listen to!
Over the years, "Mad World" has been performed in "The Voice" of several countries, including the UK's Cody Frost in 2016, and in the US by John Taylor Williams during knockout rounds in 2014 A favorite for me is an audition from "The Voice" of China, Season 2 in 2013, by tiny Miss Cui Tianqi (崔天琪). Imo, this Tears for Fears song is one that only the most self-assured singers dare attempt.
Nicole of Switzerland (Feeling Good) certainly had this song under control. I liked her style. But then the last performance, Andrea Orchi of Italy singing Skinny Love was so outstanding. Wow. His smile at the end was worth a thousand words.💖 Pure, thank you for bringing us such beautiful music every weekend. 🤗
I agree about Nicole. However I think her forced vibrato in the beginning was her nerves. She didn’t need to force it the way she did, but she does have talent!!!

Chen Zhi Tong (Queen.T) was amazing! I checked on the original (Nunchucks) and it seems like two songs were combined? I would be interested in hearing more and what happened to her.
