My preference would be the Genesis version but with the music from the SNES version.

Love how on the Genesis version they use the same music from the second act of fun park for the first circus act 🤣🔝

SNES has more colours but Genesis sometimes has better choice colours, although SNES is still winning in that regard overall. The SNES version also sounds better. The Genesis has the edge in horizontal resolution here though, at least in-game. But the title screen basically sums up the difference between these two games best.

While I am a big fan of the Genesis, SNES blows away the genesis version on sound and colors. Only thing about the genesis here is the wider resolution.

The music is appalling on Genesis. SNES for the win!

Only if MUSIC if all that matters in a game. For me, GAMEPLAY is kinda key and the limited viewing area of the SNES on the horizontal plain kills that version. MegaDrive FTW because I'm not a moron!

Não sei se é nostalgia mas a música do snes dá mais intensidade ao game.

Hmm. Seems like the SNES is the overall better one.
Scenarios (both foreground and background) have more detail in them, like the public on the background or the purple blocks you walk on. The sounds seems to be better too, with a better usage of the SPC chip, not to mention that the video shows an original piece of music. For what it seems the controls options are also free to customize. The game looks a bit brighter with more pastel tones.
On the other hand the SMD looks darker, which I don't consider bad, although the lack in details is noticeable. The controls seem to be predefined choices, which is better than no choices at all. The sound is the weakest aspect, it doesn't really make a great use of the system's sound capacities and kinda sounds annoying too. On the plus side, you get to see more of the screen which is always great, and probably the only real plus on this version.
That said, they're very close, both perform well and seem worthwhile; the only real important point for me is the sound, SMD really deserved better.

The sound is better on the Genesis, faster, more upbeat, and even adding a guitar solo to the beginning and more songs to the game than just the title theme, the graphics are better with higher resolution and more detail. I'll give the SNES version that the graphics do look smoother, but theres still less detail in areas, and the color generally looks faded, like the screen has been soaking in bleach or it was exposed to the sun. Its painful to look at.

i got both games and played both, the genesis is more intense and truly a better experience with a better resolution which is needed for the game play!!!

    • @iwanttocomplain
      @iwanttocomplain 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Potentially, yes. But given the fact that the screen doesn’t move until you are the exact same distance from the side as the SNES version, rather than keeping Aero in the center of the screen negates that potential advantage.
The sound is bad on both - I rate them even in their badness.
But the SNES game (clearly the original version) has better colour. So it wins.

  • @iwanttocomplain

The Genesis music is so low effort! 2 channels used. The simplest possible tones - 1 lead and 1 bass. It’s very underwhelming. But the SNES music is a bit overwhelming - this giant string sample just bombards you with way too much noise with fat drums added makes it’s a noisy mess.
The games are equal in their mediocrity.

Sega's version has better color resolution while the snes color is dull but in some levels the graphics are a little more detailed on the snes but as far as sound goes the snes is far better

    snes better music and visuals
    genesis better FoV
in this case i do not thing the fov is that much a deal breaker so i prefer the snes version

  • @1989arcampos

Although the Snes version is more detailed, it seems to me that the Genesis version is looser and apparently better to play.

  • @soramirez5473

seems the same ass game.. maybe the genesis is darker but more colorful, the snes colors are dull but seems to have more detail in the background... however the snes is cropped.. so if ima play this game, the genny seems better.. i see more of the game

Mega Drive wins due to the higher resolution alone. It feels cramped on SNES, as usual, and it's annoying for anything with scrollings.

    • @predaking2wings

yea the megadrive is better and the music on the Sega is jamming compared to the snes it gets annoying fast!!
