    The content is great. Thanks for sharing. I recently saw a battery called Moman Power 99 v mount. I don't know if you know about it. I want to try it.

    Hey I’m trying to purchase 2 x 190wh B mount for my aperture 300x. The guys are telling me this will not be enough to output the 15A needed to run my light.
    Is this correct? What alternative do you advise.

      This is unfortunately out of my scope. You have to contact D&O lighting and see what they say.

    thanks for this very informative video, i am planning to use D&O Lighting batteries as well. I am using bmpcc6k camera, so i need to replate battery when i will see voltage 13.5V on the monior of the camera?

      Hi and thanks for your feedback 🙂.
      Yes, that’s highly recommended for two reasons as described:
      - you don’t risk the camera shutting down if your camera doesn’t work under 13V especially in the middle of a critical recording such as a game, wedding, seminar, inauguration etc.
      2- that will keep your battery Covid free and healthy.

    i bought this battery but now i don't know what v-mount plate to use it with. I tried getting the Indipro v-mount plate with integrated dummy battery, but that did not work. After connecting, if you move the camera, the connection between the plate and the battery was not snug enough, so it would randomly lose connection and turn off the camera. do you know what plate will work best with this battery? and what dummy battery to use with sony a6500?

      The V-Mount plate I use and recommended is already in the description. Click on the link. Thanks!

      Exact same issue with BMD V-Mount plate and Fotga V-Mount power distributor. Don't recommend those batteries. BTW, support is very bad after purchase ! Changing plates doesn't solve the issue and using this onboard camera is quite dangerous because of power shutdown with false contact ! Changing the V-Lock piece doesn't solve the issue. Other battery brands lock perfectly as intended. This issue just killed by onboard monitor SDI IN and camera main SDI out ports because of brutal power loss on the V-Mount plate of my camera ! Only solution to compensante this design flaw is to put gaffer on the back of the batteries to get them better locked on the plate thanks to the added pressure. Just sayin' from my experience : avoid those D&O Lighting batteries !

      @@bastienchill thanks for your feedback. I haven’t experienced this issue yet with bad contact. Did you have the chance to try replicating the same issue in another V-Mount plate?

    • @bastienchill
      @bastienchill 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ArtVideoProductions I have bought another plate for my camera and the issue was exactly the same, if not worse…

      @@bastienchill wow that’s so weird! Well, the only issue I had, wasn’t anything regarding bad connection. It’s solid on my end, however, when I tried powering a LUXLI Taiko 2x1 LED panel, the light display DOES power ON, but the LEDs WILL NOT. No idea why but I left it alone. Everything else, the D&O V mount is working ok for me, but again, that LUXLI issue, was strange…it didn’t “like it”. I haven’t attempted to power my LUXLI since then with these batteries. Everything else, no issues.

    Can i charge with D&O Lighting charger other brand v mount batteries?

    • @ArtVideoProductions
      @ArtVideoProductions  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes you can. What’s important to keep in mind is trying *not* to mix different battery sizes, for example, a 95 watt with a 190 on a single charge. This charger charges both batteries simultaneously.
