aurther always has these great punch lines, looks around sees dogs everywhere, the dog park sign... "i still don't know what your point is." this show is full of these gems, love the off-beat humor.

Not to mention that they clearly leave Arthur home alone all the time, particularly when they are at work. So getting Holly to walk him makes sense to get him out of their hair, but if you're going shopping or to spinning class anyway, rather than being at home, there's no reason to have him walked. It would be something to get him out of the house while you're there. Not to get him out of the house while you're gone.
Maybe they work on weekends.
@@Logan_Baronhe would go with them, especially Carrie. It's understandable when they're at work they can't be with him and after work they would want to be with each other without Arthur, but he lives there. It would make them feel better knowing he's out with someone they trust and having company.
Originally, Doug hired Holly so he and Carrie could be at home undisturbed and make a baby. But Carrie uses the free time without Arthur differently, she goes to the gym because she knows that Arthur is out walking in company, when he is home she stays home too because she doesn't want to leave him alone.
