It's great when you have a good days work that goes well, i know working as a three is not as efficient as have two vans. But this is how we work for now, to grow i need another van on the road Sophie has plans to move.
Haha 😛 it does test my age! It was one of my early customers and I way under priced it. Said I would give it a go and find out if it is something I can do. After the first time I cleaned it they put the price up and I have done it ever since.
Nice vid Rob👍 on the next one can you show what speed you tend to have your flow rate on mate, you seem to clean the sills a lot quicker that I can it seems to take forever to stop bits of wet dirt seeping back onto the clean sill👎👎👎 Don’t know if my flow rate isn’t high enough
Thank you 🙏 I have my flow rate set to 50 at the moment. I used to be on 30 then had it set to 40 for a while. The flow rate though depends on each person’s set up. A good way to find out the flow rate for you would be to use a bucket and your phone as a timer. Change the flow rate settings until you can get 2 litres in a bucket in a minute. For me that is 50 psi. But this will be different on set ups as depends on hose size, how old the pump is type of jets on your brush etc
The conservatory roof is not a full on clean it is a regular clean to keep the worst off. But I should be charging that one more. Should probably charge for aching arms lol 😂.
That was some arm wrenching conny roof!!! It's such a pity your jobs are so spread out. I would guess you could be hitting almost double what you did on this day with a compact round but you have to work with what you have. I have some early customers that are way under priced too but I feel bad about raising them to where they should be. Great to see some tricky jobs - not many people are willing to show those.
Cheers Ched I used to dread that job lol 😂 but I like a few tricky jobs as it kinda tests you. I know what you mean about early customers, they got you started and have been loyal. Loyalty should work both ways. Regular work is important to have a monthly income. Being reasonably priced might mean you are working hard but also you’ll have years of working even through the hard times.
It wasn't a one off roof clean it is a regular clean alongside the window cleaning. Just to keep the moss and that at bay. My arms felt like they had been lifting 120lb lol 😂
Nice work guys that first conny roof looked hard graft, I statically underpriced a glass roof I used to do, I didn’t have the nuts to up the price to what it should Have been so Ended up politely dropping the customer 🫣keep up the good work 👍🏻
Thank you, yeah that roof can be an arm buster yet satisfying to get out of the way. Probably not ideal to have as the first clean of the day 🤣 It is a early on customer and probably still under priced however they are great customers and pay before i have finished. It's not easy when it comes to pricing.

👍🏻
👍 Thank you 🙏
Wow. Your arms must have ached after that day. Some real stretches. Good video as always.

Have a watch back of one of the lives Rob did where he discussed flow rates.
Definitely not charging enough for that conservatory should be £100+ alone.

I would of charged £120.00 just for the conny roof you should be charging minimum of £80.00 for that roof
