This guy explains these trailers better than any video I have seen. I watched most of them on here. If you're a serious buyer and want to take the time for an in depth training on the trailer then this is a must watch video. Essential tips are given to many features on the trailer..
It is an access panel that latches into place. I was unaware that someone had taken it off, and then just propped it up in place, instead of latching it properly.
Nice rig. However to have trashcan under the sink is an a excellent concept, but to have you eat and cooking utensils in the same area, I am not a fan of. Does the sofa convert into a bed?
The big Sofa had a leg recliner which he didn't stress to show but apart from that you can pull a thick rug in big space in front of Sofa and have a good night......

Nice trailer and review. How does airstream insulate the walls these days? Do they use spray foam inside the bays before installing the fiberglass insulation? Thank you
The Airstream is by far my favorite mobile home. I really love the extra foot room in front of the couch and the bed being able to go up. My only complaint is that the Airstream consistently puts the TV in the worst spot. I suggest adding a divider on either the back of the dining chair or at the front end of the kitchenette to hang the TV from.
Airstream don't need no slide outs! These guys knock it out of the park every time! Sure you are going to pay more but isn't that the case in all quality products? Thanks for the review and a Happy New Year to you Sir!
Airstream is the one and only rv that's even in consideration for good quality. If not a an airstream, you would be better off buying a sprinter van or school bus to convert. Rvs are built like crap, using the cheapest materials they can possibly use. Then priced as high as they can possibly get away with. I've been working on rvs for a very long time. Trust me when I tell you, if you ever consider an Rv, make it an airstream.
wish they made a toyhauler version...I've been looking at ATC in either their bumper pull or 5th and they seen rugged and functional in the utility department...
HOLY PRO BASKETBALL BATMAN! Wow! You should mention that in the videos. For someone who has not actually been inside of an Airstream, watching a man with your stature inside of that trailer, makes it look small. Re-watching it now, with knowing how tall you are, the Airstream looks huge to me! LOL!
bmm5255 I'm over 6' tall too (though nowhere near 6'9"). Surprisingly, that furniture looks way more comfortable for us giant people than I thought it would.
Wish the units had front window kitchens. Hate hate the walk thru galley kitchen, nothing but a traffic pile-up zone. Front kitchen are ideal, chief is out of the way, set aside from traffic flow.
I have never seen a front kitchen in any camper. I have seen a couple older motor homes with back kitchens. Most people only spend weekends in thier camper anyway and much prefer to cook out side when at all possible
Gorgeous trailer. Not a fan of split bathrooms layouts and that curtain doesn't look like it does a good job a giving privacy. Other than that it's gorgeous but because of that split bathroom I rather the flying cloud 30fb since it has the fully enclosed bathroom.
For this much money, you'd think the middle drawer on couch wouldn't have a gap--quality issue? Also, you can buy a used 2015 for 50K to 60K less--same basic features.
I'm in love...... Not with the camper, I met this girl today sitting at a traffic light. She is beautiful and I just wanted everyone to know. Her name is samantha and she is very well endowed. She has a tattoo of a ninja turtle on her wrist, it's the cutest thing.
and with those recliners you lost also all the storage we used to have under the sofa....and talking about storage you also loose the one under the dinette as you ve got that big ALDE furnace and water heating they don't want you to see there on walk throught videos.....
@@bmm5255 I didn't assume it, I saw the aluminum wall curving to ceiling when you opened the door to the closet... I guess you have double-aluminum frame, then? The outer then insulation, then an internal aluminum frame...?
While this looks quite well built, my concern, as someone over 6' tall, is how the well I would fit on the furniture. Lol. Even regular furniture seems like it's made for little people, when I use it. **Edited: apparently this gentleman is 6'9" so potentially this would be extremely comfortable furniture, based on watching him use it**
where are the electrical outlets on the counter tops? Also, where is the generator for dry camping? Don't care for this model at all. Much prefer the Coachman RVs
I would rather see the automated table be lowered and the TV swing out and be adjusted, than seeing manually operated day and night shades. It's tough to look at a crooked/damaged footrest on the middle seat section of the couch when you're sitting on the attached incliner, especially on something with a $150K,( pickup truck not included) price tag. It stood out like a sore thumb. Seeing the other bed/sleeping area would also be helpful. Airstream makes a beautiful product but this video needs some work..........and so does that darn footrest on the couch.
LOVE the 30' Classic...! we ditched the noisy smelly gas generator, and instead power our Airstram when off-grid, direct from our tow vehicle using our www.CarGenerator.com
I don't like the idea of a slot at the back of the counters for heat flow. Things like pencils are going to roll into that and be lost forever. Heaven forbid you spill a cup of coffee or even worse, a glass of milk! And of course you can't park any appliances at the back of the countertop even if they are too big to fall in because it blocks the airflow. And it's all so unnecessary. You could even more easily have the air come out the toe space under the cabinets and the heat would be right where you really want it, on your feet. I also don't like the bathroom being divided into two tiny stalls barely big enough to avoid bumping your elbows in. I prefer the older Airstreams that had a single more generous bathroom that didn't feel quite so claustrophobic. Also, I think some of them had a small tub so you had the flexibility to soak if you wanted to, you weren't committed to showers only. The cabinet doors don't look like they fit in very well with the rest of the decor of the Airstream. They look old fashioned, whereas the rest of the interior looks space age.
Nothing can roll or spill down the heat vent at the back of the counter. There is a 1" lip there. Also nothing can block the heat. Don't knock it until you've tried it. It is much warmer, quieter, and more efficient than the forced air. And, no more cold walls! Also the bathroom (water closet) is huge. Plenty of leg room and elbow room. The shower stall is also bigger than you think. I am 6'9" tall, and have plenty of room. As for the cabinets. . . it is a "Classic". If the decor is not to your liking, maybe you would prefer a more modern look like the Serenity or Signature? They are awesome too.
