Most have never created a TH-cam Ads account TH-camr get paid off Google Display Ads. Display ads can be as low a $0.05 to $0.10 per click/Ad View, average is between $0.25 - $0.50 per click/Ad View. If Google only making 10 cents per click, how much you think they going to pay you? They not gonna pay you more than they are making and they not splitting half Content Creators are paid off people engagement with Ads on Videos not views or subscribers. If people view the ads for so many seconds and/or click the ads, the TH-camr gets paid. If Content Creators want more money they should tell the viewers to click or watch the ads that TH-cam put on their channels
Social media is definitely a good tool , but followers/ Subscribers do NOT = customers. Walmart only has 3m followers yet most ppl in the country are their customers

Also what Joe is describing is how there's no free virality anymore on social media. The "governor" on it is that you have to pay for reach. This wasn't always the case. But now, most social networks require you to pay for engagement. Snap and TikTok are the only platforms that still have organic virality--but I'm not sure how valuable those audiences are.
That's not 100% true about people now a days not doing gorilla marketing because you can just push a button. Once you reach a certain threshold of pay in the "real world", it's not easy to work a real full time job AND be outside every damn weekend AND be in a relationship AND have children. When you're in your early 20s, became famous, then switch to a different career, it's easy to be oblivious to regular people trying to do something other then a 9-5. If you work part time or you hustle, maybe it's easy to always be outside all the time but not when you have a salary and you have bills and expenses to deal with. Our times are way more consumed then it used to be. Most people have MAYBE 4-5 hours to themselves throughout the day just to sit and breathe.
No disrespect, however you just pointed out the thought process that keeps most Americans as employees rather than business owners. A job is not safe or secure because you can be fired ..Please invest more time in yourself than your job
@@TravisCharlesJohnson I never said jobs was safe. All I'm saying, to Joe's point is that, he generalized that it's easy for anyone. Also, owning your own business is less safe than working a 9-5 by a huge margin, if we're being realistic. Depending on what you do for work, people can still easily work somewhere with low chance of unemployment. Maybe people think that the only jobs available might be retail or Amazon warehouse but owning your own business isn't the best option for everyone. Not even because some people aren't determined but because business is a skill set in itself. It isn't the golden answer. That's how people start businesses, get in debt, sacrifice more than they should have and go right back to being an employee. I've seen some make a business and thrive and I've seen more overestimate what owning a business can do for themselves.
Your perspective is based on a specific mindset, but it's a mindset that'll be unable to reach a certain level that you'll see the benefit from. We can ALWAYS generate the needed time to push to that next level we're looking for. Stay locked in!
