eco boost works on teh current round, not your current eco. So it's better to use it earlier to get an eco boost early on. 5,8,&10 are the rounds that I eco boost on. but you might find it different for your playstyle

Why don't you do battle arena you get medalions and use them to upgrade or buy towers
