Paula I lost my granddaddy about a week ago and I was so close to that man my entire Life not having him here is so unreal to me now I truly understand how you feel when you speak of the times you had with your grandmother hiers and others who have gone before we must appreciate the times we have had with our loved ones because we never really think they will leave us and in truth they never truly leave us they are with us in spirit and in our hearts
It's called Mississippi Pot Roast..there's a few variations this recipes been around forever and ever and ever. I do mine with a packet of onion soup mix, a packet of dry ranch mix, the pepperoncini peppers, I use about a half a stick of butter to cut back on some of the butter.. I use one small 8 oz can of beef au jus..then I put in about a half a cup to even 3/4 of a cup of the pepperoncini juice and them magic! It's delicious and juice! You can thicken the juices , I leave em..they will thicken slightly on their own. I like to serve them over potatoes, rice....even a potatoe boat..(baked potato semi scooped out)
Hi Paula have you tried Grands buttermilk biscuits ( cut into quarters ). Pioneer Gravy a whole 2 cups . 6 eggs . Veggies and breakfast meat of your choice.

Everything looks delicious. I was surprised by the potatoes in the breakfast casserole. As many times as I've made them, I never used potatoes.
Same here, but it sounds good!

Everything is better with a bone in it! Too bad butchers, meat markets & groceries haven’t learned that! A bone gives so much flavor, IMHO!!
