1. Must have tool: Harbor Freight, PITTSBURGH Ratcheting Right Angle Multi-Bit Screwdriver Set, 8 Piece $2.99
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable (under passenger seat for 20 mins.) to recalibrate the blend door actuator system.
Good tips my friend thanks for adding!
THANK YOU for this video! It was easy to follow along with and had good close-ups that were bright & clear. It helped me to change my full actuator. I'm a female who tries to fix things on my own and I rely so much on these types of videos, so thank you for your help!
You are so welcome!
Wife and I just tried this and it worked out our issue. Thanks for the walkthrough!
You're welcome!
Thanks for adding your struggles in the video...that is a great learning tool for those who have never attempted it! Your video has helped me greatly...thanks again my friend
You are so welcome!
Helped me bro, I appreciate! 👍🏻
Glad it helped brotha! 👌🏿
Watched this video to fix my car but sniped a glance of what was playing on your radio, now I’m loving on these chase shakur albums..thanks for the Easter eggs
That's what's up! Love sharing music especially Chase 🙏🏿 I appreciate you
Thank you Sir. Great video, you saved me a fortune! ❤🙏
You're very welcome!
Thanks for the video!
You're welcome!
U think 07 jgc laredo uses the elongated knob or the flat ferries wheel looking thing?
I'm not certain unfortunately
How do you tell if you need the passenger or driver's side one? Is the side that is not operating correctly needs the replacemnt? Guessing that's how it would work.
Correct!
I have a question how come nobody mentions the blend door actuator above the cab air filter to the left of the filter up high and one you pointed out because there are two right there the second one is to the right of the one you’re pointing out and up a little higher. I will post a video tomorrow when I’m working on mine.
Great point honestly didn't know that
Did you replace the 2nd one ? Was that your problem ?
I think this is my problem. Were you able to replace that one? How do you get to it?
Did you ever figure out your AC problem. Mine is doing the same thing
I have a condenser leak so I'll be replacing that this weekend 😩
@@LJsGarage Is there a follow up video for that? My actuator gear was actually broken, but that didn't fix the problem for me.
Did you ever figure out what is wrong with the system? My local Jeep dealership said might be the housing unit? 1700 n labor and that’s not including the parts
Mine ended up being a slow leak in my condenser. Hopefully your's isnt that :/
What was the problem eventually?
Leak in condenser
Did you figure out the problem because i'm going through the same thing
Leak in my condenser :/
Have you replaced the driver side actuator yet?
Negative my friend
I’ve heard it’s a nightmare in comparison. I need to try this weekend.
Poor heat on one side? Your issue is probably the heater core plugged, If you can feel the airflow switching and there are no codes in the hvac unit. Theyre a parallel flow style which generally cannot be unplugged.
Ended up being a leak in my condenser thanks though my friend!
What about drivers side….
You don't want to know lol
Try doing the driver side.not so easy
You are not wrong my friend
@@LJsGarageso if it’s the heat knob not working or broken causing the clicking sound it’ll be on the glove compartment side to replace that broken knob?
Now let's see the driver side 😅😅😅
Haha
Muffler man quoted me $1800 to replace the whole hvac system 💀
The whole system lol dang
All that for it not to fix your problem? lol thanks
Turns out I have a leak around my condenser lol fun project to come!
My son has the same problem on his 14 Grand Cherokee. Planning on doing the same thing you did. May replace gear and actuator to rule both out if that doesn't fix it. Hopefully that's my problem and not a leak.
@@markbrown9838what’s his doing?
@@markbrown9838How did it turn out? I have the same problem on my 14 grand cherokee too! Cold on the driver side hot on the passenger side.
@@JERZEEHOTBOYwhat did yours end up being?
