It’s frustrating because in some regions like the South they are the majority. There is no tolerance for a 2 state solution where 2 countries live independently and at peace with each other. The key word being peace. The more Israel commits war crimes and ethnic cleansing, the more they alienate the rest of the Middle East, the greater the probability of war. The crime I see is Israel to hold the Palestinian people under siege since 1948. They have right to freedom. I do clearly understand that what happened on October 7th was horrible and I condemn the action of Hamas. But what is the role of Israel that justifies the existence of groups like Hamas. The remnants will always come back to claim their right. Palestinian people deserve better and I do understand their resistance. Not everyone who lives in Israel are descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Judaism is a religion, not a blood line, and a lot of Jews in Israel nowadays don't even have ancestors in that region as they came from all around the world and got permission to live there just because they are Jews! Palestinians are descendants of the ancestors on the bible and in the time Jesus born was no Christianity or Islam, so later on, a lot of Jews converted to other religions. So the chosen ones are not necessarily Jews!

I come from an evangelical Christian background, and grew up listening to Moody Christian Radio that had Billy Graham and other preachers on. I remember growing up and filling shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child for kids in Africa. There is a bubble that you are in, when you grow up in the evangelical church, and you feel like everyone is persecuting you for your beliefs. So, you absorb the black and white way of thinking, and become defensive. I have stopped attending church for a while now, but I still have unpacking to do, in regards to zionism and its teaching in the evangelical church/evangelical culture.
