@jeccika856 that makes plenty of sense, especially when you see how aggressively I'm working to sift LOL. Work smarter not harder. Thanks for the advice 😉
@Kanaksingh08 i have to give credit where it is due. What I've learned is inspired by SandGirl. To me she is the 🐐 and I have picked up a lot of techniques watching her videos. Sandgirl, Momosands, and sandchews are my inspirations.
I love your cleaning process ☺ and was surprise to hear it be that crunchy (especially for a fine type of sand) That question towards the end of your video is really smart and I was thinking the same thing as well. A lot of beaches and lakes have man made sand because it is cheaper to put there instead of real natural sand. Real natural sand cost a lot of money and harder to find . Half of beaches and lakes are man made & not originally and naturally placed there.
I'm sure it takes practice and experience to finally find a good forage spot where the sand is exactly how you want it. From my experience, sand changes from place to place.
Please don’t take offense to this but to make sure it’s extra clean I would take a step further in boiling the sand as well. With everything that happens at a beach I would just want you to be extra safe. Love your videos.
Yes!!! I boil first then wash then boil let dry sift and then oven and last step I let it sun sit on the dash of the car to get that outside taste back
@Sashaa555 it's would give it a solid 7. It has a great cunch, no real smell, but not the taste is was hoping for. But I think it's going to be great to record with.
Small tip first let the sand dry and then sift the sand

I will definitely do a wet video with this sand. Thank you btw.
sometimes after either putting it in a basement or after letting it air out, it gets its taste back. so hopefully that’ll happen with this one as well
@@sandchews oh ok. I hope so because everything else is great with this sand.
Does it still taste earthy after baking and washing it????
@@KonyaTaylor-s1r Not as natural as I would like.

@old_redlk3319 i agree. I think the comments will help me fine tune the process. Lots of positive feedback.

@@evetteevette-o1l No offense taken. That's not a bad suggestion at all. Thank you so much for watching and commenting ❤️.

@Dr.RoseQuartz That sounds like an amazing process. Do you swallow the sand after that process?
@ I do lol most times especially when I eat it with clay. I not only eat sand but I eat starch, clay, dirt (top soil) and diatomaceous earth
@evetteevette-o1l diatomaceous sounds like the loose dirt that sits on top of the desert floor which is what I liked when I was pregnant.
How would you rate this sand ( such as texture and taste)
1- 10

@@Pica-buSand-Chulet it sit out for a few days or more
@therebornkitten will do. I'll that before I use it to post. But TBH can't wait to try it with the CFS and Play sand.
