Hey Nostromo, was feeling nostalgic for some older amvs and went to go back and watch some of your older works. Still impressed with them to this day. Wanted to comment on this most recent video to say I hope you're doing well. The AMV scene sure is different from how I remember it, but I still hope you find enjoyment in editing projects here and there.

Wow. There have been a lot of computer building montages, but this was exceptional. Loved the case of hard drives and the 2 SSDs installed on the motherboard. Also, it was funny to see the random whisk and ladle when installing the bequiet fans. Of course you're the type of person that can solder too. As always, the music was synced so beautifully to the visual. Even after all that, the thing that excited me the most was your comment below the video. Running Man is still one of my absolute favorite AMVs. I know it's been over a year since you made this, but I hope the best for whatever you're doing.
So now we can return to quality amvs, was getting tired of the silence around here. Hope that creative spark hasn't dulled. Now remind everyone what real talent is.

I know this is a long time after, but there is one thing I have to mention. Your taste and choices of music for your videos is incredible. If you have any tips for people looking for this kind of music I'd love some! I find I have to dig through tons of songs I don't want just to find the gold at the bottom. If that's what you do then it's all the more incredible.
There's no secret sauce. I spend up to 30 minutes everyday browsing through new stuff and downloading tons of music that I listen to and sort at the office. I think I get only 2 to 5% keepers.

Always was a treat to hear music I liked and good footage to go with it. I remember going I KNOW WHO DID THAT when I saw reflection of style the first time. Didn't even need the credits hehe.

God ... you know you're a double-crazy person, do you? I said double yes, because not only you 1/ built a PC powerful enough to take control of the whole pentagon AND North Korea, but 2/ you actually probably spent 8 times more editing this than the actual PC building. Needless to say, amazing work as always :) . Editing in HD should be a breeze with this !
Love your videos. Always. However, I know it's brand new PC, but that chip is very hot. I recommend you to delid it, change thermal paste with liquid metal, and get proper copper IHS. With intensive CPU usage like rendering, you should do it. Check out some videos about it if you interested. It's very beneficial in a long run.
I have an average of 38C and a max of 75C under load with mild overclocking. I think it's fine. Liquid metal brings risks of corrosion and instability with time. I'm good for now.
I hate to be "that guy", but crypto-mining wasn't the reason DDR has been so expensive. Only a few factories in the world make solid-state memory, and as the demand for memory has increased, a new factory had to be built. The increase in demand partly came from graphics card sales during the crypto-bubble, but can largely be attributed to the rise in smartphone and SSD sales. This rise in DDR prices also occurred around 2001, and a new factory was built then too. The companies who own these few factories know that they can get away with gouging the market on a routine, so instead of trying to stay ahead of demand, they collude and partake in some price-fixing for a year or two. Love your work, BTW! This was a fantastic build video, and I can't wait for your next AMV!

That RGB system is really nice, but I'm wondering how hot the air gets inside with all those led strips. I have to say I've been watching your stuff ever since you made Auriga, can't wait for your next AMV. Also, 7:00 not sure if this is still the same theme you made years ago, but I remember using it on my XP, great times.
Next time show us more of your soldering skill! I want to see you slide the iron down all four sides of the SMD component in one smooth motion, and watch as all the solder falls perfectly into place without any bridging.
@@Nostro- While making a replica of the Steins;Gate Divergence Meter, I had to solder on three SMD chips, each with 9 pins on each side. I found that tons of flux, a 3/32 inch iron tip, and a 10x loupe make it much easier.

It's not in the video but I have dust filters on my intakes and the "case" has positive pressure.
