@@yol_nNot really. The slider bar was used as a replacement for buttons on tap notes and it could also be used as a replacement for the whammy bar on sustains. In most cases, the slider bar wasn’t that helpful so it didn’t get a whole lot of use. It also didn’t help that you needed a guitar hero 5 guitar or a guitar hero world tour guitar to use the slider bar in the first place. However on this song, since the tap notes are so close in those trills, they are very inconsistent to hit with normal buttons due to the fact that tap notes in this game have an overlapping hit window which makes it possible to hit a later note before the note that you are supposed to hit which causes you to miss a note. However, on this song, using the slider bar makes it more consistent to hit the notes in the trills, which is very important when you are going for a full combo on a song. The description goes into a lot more detail on the slider bar technique so I would recommend reading that if you want more info, but that basically sums it up.
I use a Les Paul only, so idk about the slider bar. It must be really bad for players not to use it on long slider sections like 1:57 to 2:38 where u don't have to change between reg notes and sliders
I would get so pissed because the damn slider on my guitar would tap by itself and would fail any song without even touching the slider because apparently tapping it counts as a strum
@@zooms7889 u need a full bar of star power going into the solo and survive a little bit of the beginning of it. activate star power pretty much where he does in the vid. as long as u hit the star power phases u will constantly have some that will get u through the solo. that was my strat.

So few days ago I got myself GHWT for the PC inspired by these videos you posted. 🤘 I can ~almost~ FC the long tapping part on this song in CH, but on WT it is something else. I struggle so much as the game feels slightly more intolerant to being off the beat and an awful latency that makes me need to focus about 1/4 ahead on the highway to compensate. Aiming right on the frets sometimes causes me to be too late which esp. hurts on high NPS parts. Yuck.

There's some differences from GH on tour decades. In WT the note streak is 1288 while the On tour decades is 1022 note streak. Hardest song I ever heard and the chart is different. btw nice vid and FC, You just beat king inferno.
I was anchoring G when going into the trill, but the slider bar overrides that and it shows that I stopped anchoring it, even though I didn't. So every time I hit the B, it showed it anchored, every time I hit the O with the slider bar, it showed it not anchored.
Can I just say I don’t really like WT or GH5 guitars for two handing stuff? When ever I go to two hand I always press the pause button because of how easy it is to press, and in the official games I always over strum or mess up the pattern. Also, which game are you going to be doing next?
I've seen you use the slider bar for this song for your GHWT Gauntlet VOD. Not blaming you but I blame the creators who introduced the damn slider notes.
The franchise would start to fall apart all over again because making guitars are expensive. No joke, when they worked on a Guitar Hero 7 in 2011, they canceled because they couldn’t keep up the support after they milked the franchise to death thanks to Activision.

I know those two notes with the star power saved me in the real tough solo part.
Also through the fire and flames makes this look like a piece of cake

Sounds about right. CH and WT handle slider notes totally differently. You need to be very precise on WT

I know you only tap half of solo F but what's your method when you do tap? This type of pattern is so hard for me to tap no matter how I try
