great to see you releasing the pike. those salmon and trout only gobshites on lough corrib could learn a lesson from you. healthy pike population = healthy game fish population.
100% bud. To be honest I fish for every species and treat all of them with care, each one has their place. 👌 catch and release is so important, small minded folk will eventually see the bigger picture. ☺️✌️🎣
When I use small rapala countdowns I use 6kg light wire trace works good for trout and pike, or else you can use 12lb fleurocarbon, works great also, landed multiple 100cm pike no problem when fishing for trout 👍 just keep an eye on the line and if it gets frayed, cut off your leader and tie on a new one 👌 tight lines
Great video guys!!!
Thanks for watching Jimmy 🎣

Thanks for watching pal 😁👌🔥
did you hire the boat or have you brought it with you?
This is my boat.
What line do you use, so you dont scare off the trouts and sustain the pikes?

How many metres do ya have the rapalas out when trolling?
Usually a casting distance and maybe an extra 10 yards, don’t need to much line out for the rapalas to work 👍
