this game gets too much hate because people think they changed her, and bringing in immortals and nemesis. but to me its overwhelmingly beautiful!! to show aloy accepting help after prefering to work alone and then even showing them what she knows is marvelous! and seeing how once again humanity can not only bring about its extinction (lol nemesis said round 2 bitches) but also show the core of humanity when faced with overwhelming odds and working togethor for the sake of survival (putting aside differences as we see along the road) is just inspiring!! in my opinion this game didnt disappoint! it just got better!! i cant wait for the 3rd!!!
Apollo is tech from a thousand years ago. Nemesis has been developing way beyond Apollo. I wouldn't look forward to Apollo that much. However, seeing Aloy in space might be interesting.
I love the way Aloy handles "Studious." Her smart ass wit was one of my favorite parts of the first game, like when she told Resh she figured with him guarding, it must've been the latrine.
Thanks for uploading this. I'm a PC gamer and Horizon is about the only game that ever made me want to get console. Now that I've seen this, it reminded me why I loved the first game so much. Also kudos for all the artists that worked on this game, everything looks amazing as expected, and the Zenith designs are just /chef's kiss.
horizon zero dawn and forbidden west are truely amazing games. they bring a sort of echo of game of the past that we played. the feel of adventure, joy, excitment, sorrow, anger, and peace. i cant wait for the 3rd game. and i have no doubt it will be even better than we could imagine. i just hope it inspires others to make a game like this. because in my opinion......its perfect.😭👍🙂

Aloy and Beta are perfect examples of what difference having a FATHER in your life can make. Aloy had Rost and sums up perfectly what love of a Farther means to a growing girl (or boy)👏🏿.

Kotallo is by far my favorite new character. He's like a mini version of Fashav... who would have been my favorite character if not for his untimely death. The instant Fashav started to speak, he grabbed my attention. I absolutely hate that he was killed of so early. As a script writer, you really shouldn't kill off characters that are this compelling. Also, I freaking loved Kotallo's reaction when he says "A friend of yours..." Lol he respects Aloy so much already that he has this friend built up in his head thinking they must be some amazing warrior, only to later voice his surprise when said friend turns out to be an Utaru. If you remember at the base, Aloy & Kotallo have a conversation where Kotallo says that Farmers don't make very good Soldiers. Aloy goes on to explain how Zoe led a small battalion to fight back against the Carja invaders, pushing them all the way back to Barren Light.
They can't stretch this to horizon 4 unless 4 becomes like a civil war between Aloy and Sylens or something. This nemesis thing looks to be end all- be all.
The studio and the publisher has said that the Main games were created as a trilogy, so the VR is not cannon!!! And everything after the 3rd and final main game will be spin offs...

How far has technology come? These cutscenes are generated in real time on the PS5. Many years ago a pre-rendered cutscene never even looked this good.

I think the BIG question for the Final Act still remains - Why did Nemesis' signal make the AI"s sentient? I bet there's going to be a BIG twist in the final game when it comes to that. I also wonder how they will possibly do the game without Lance Reddick.... It won't be the same without him.
With the Zeniths printing matrix (hapheastus) code, they can modernize their tribes back to the Golden Age of Humanity. The final chapter of the series is coming soon!
We'll probably have to recapture Hephaestus in the next game which will probably be pretty difficult since he also knows now that Omega clearance exists so he will for sure code it out.

Hmmm so my only thing is why didn't the zeniths just speak to aloy and say look we crated something and we're scared let us help you get Gaia back and when she's at full power we'll copy her and leave. You can come if you want or not but we can't leave a trace of where we left to.
They only had a few months before the damage to the environment became irreversible. Plus it's later revealed that Sirius is gone, they were trying to go so far away nothing could find them.
It sucks to see Varl go. They did all that to find out that there's an even bigger threat out there. A threat that these Zeniths caused from their planet. This was just to prolong the inevitable. Not only that, but they still have 2 more AI's to find or restore so that Gaia can be back to her whole self again by assimilating them. Theres alot of work to do, now everyone is gonna have to work together.
I think the world of Horizon might be the biggest ratio of world building to source material entries since Tolkien. Seriously. Only 2 games (so far). Yet Over a thousand years of backstory, fully fleshed out tribes and “creatures” solid characters. Great job Guerrilla Games

English, despite being a common language, is not the most used language worldwide. Although the story does take place in the United States which makes more sense for every cradle facility there to teach English.
Funny, I saw a reddit post of people being like "Aloy isn't gay just because she rebuffed a couple of men." in regards to the first game. Well, this game certainly seems to solidify that she is.
Pssh.... The version where you let Regalla live is MUCH better. You get a whole bunch of new dialogue with her back at base, and during the Far Zenith assault. It's worth it compared to her bow that you get from killing her, although her bow is admittedly pretty dang awesome. I'd suggest sparing her first time thru, killing her 2nd time. Then again, if you know for sure you're going to play thru the game twice, then maybe killing her the first time so you can get her weapon would be best. I can't recall.... do storyline weapons such as her bow carry over in New Game +?
I have various predictions about the 3rd game. I think in the 3rd game HEPHESTUS will end up joining forces with Aloy & the humans to defend the Earth, on the condition that machines be allowed to roam free & do their jobs without human assault. After this, humans won't need to hunt machines anymore. With GAIA & APOLLO restored, they will have the means & knowledge to develop their own technologies. The player will now be able to take control of ANY machine made by HEPHESTUS & allow it to fight alongside Aloy. May even allow for machine upgrades based on Far Zenith tech & Armor. It was said that HEPHESTUS got an upgrade by being merged with the Far Zenith print facility, so now regular machines will be more capable than ever. All regular machines will now be friendly, going about their usual restoration efforts. NEMESIS variant machines will be the ones you now face, considering the planet will be overrun with them. There won't be room to have Aloy fighting both HEPHESTUS and NEMESIS machines, so I think this is how it will be handed. Cauldrons will now be used to arm the various tribes. Chiefs & other high ranking members will all be given Focuses so that they can learn & understand the enemy they now face. This will allow them to each learn of the looming threat off-screen, vs having constant exposition dumps. They will also have access to Cauldrons & machines to arm themselves. There will probably be a Human of some sort who wishes to abuse this power & undermine the planet's efforts. They will end up double crossing everyone in an attempt for power. They may even try to join forces with NEMESIS, aka the side they believe to be the winning one. These will serve as the two major conflicts in the game, as well as NEMESIS itself which may adopt a human/machine hybrid form, complete with Far Zenith shielding and an extremely unstable personality. Hence the "bug" the Far Zeniths ran into when trying to back up their memories digitally. Perhaps Aloy will be able to somehow appeal to the Tilda portion of NEMESIS' stored memories & use that to her advantage in the final battle. Would love to see people come back to this comment years in the future in order to see how accurate I was with these predictions.
Don't get me wrong, I love this game, but its kinda bullshit that everyone's just like its totally okay that she blew up the bullwark because everyone got off in time. Someone could have easily died, and that was super reckless.
It's such a shame they had to make Aloy fat in this game. I wonder how did she maintain the cake diet for the half year since the first game climbing mountains and fighting machines...
Hmm, hard to say. I mean, the time passes faster than in real life and the map is condensed compared to real life as well. If I had to guess, i would say the game takes place over the course of a couple of months.

Same here. I haven’t liked a saga so much since I played Zelda Wind Waker and became a huge Zelda fan. Horizon has won my heart and Aloy as well 😊

If you want to get a PS5 try registering with Sony for a chance to buy one straight from them. That's what I did and I got chosen within a week.

It sucks to see Varl go. They did all that to find out that there's an even bigger threat out there. A threat that these Zeniths caused from their planet. This was just to prolong the inevitable. Not only that, but they still have 2 more AI's to find or restore so that Gaia can be back to her whole self again by assimilating them. Theres alot of work to do, now everyone is gonna have to work together.
I think the world of Horizon might be the biggest ratio of world building to source material entries since Tolkien.
Seriously. Only 2 games (so far). Yet Over a thousand years of backstory, fully fleshed out tribes and “creatures” solid characters.

Wouldn’t all cradle facilities teach the same language so that when the people were let out, they could easily communicate with other facilities around the world?
@@c4sualcycl0ps48 Yes but then I reckon there would be a lot of argument whether what language to use during the planning stage of the cradle facilities. English, despite being a common language, is not the most used language worldwide. Although the story does take place in the United States which makes more sense for every cradle facility there to teach English.
It amazes me games have longer scenes then entire movies now , and getting to the point , feel more realistic than actors lol

yeah they definitely could. We see that the shield/glider projection tech is essentially the same thing, even down to the emitter design.
I think it was in this, that shield ability you unlock acted as a temporary shield weaver.
Why varl I liked him he was gonna start a family. I hope fortnite makes a skin of varl. Also this has the 100 meets generator rex feel to it.

Pssh.... The version where you let Regalla live is MUCH better. You get a whole bunch of new dialogue with her back at base, and during the Far Zenith assault. It's worth it compared to her bow that you get from killing her, although her bow is admittedly pretty dang awesome.
I'd suggest sparing her first time thru, killing her 2nd time. Then again, if you know for sure you're going to play thru the game twice, then maybe killing her the first time so you can get her weapon would be best. I can't recall.... do storyline weapons such as her bow carry over in New Game +?

I have various predictions about the 3rd game.
I think in the 3rd game HEPHESTUS will end up joining forces with Aloy & the humans to defend the Earth, on the condition that machines be allowed to roam free & do their jobs without human assault. After this, humans won't need to hunt machines anymore. With GAIA & APOLLO restored, they will have the means & knowledge to develop their own technologies.
The player will now be able to take control of ANY machine made by HEPHESTUS & allow it to fight alongside Aloy. May even allow for machine upgrades based on Far Zenith tech & Armor. It was said that HEPHESTUS got an upgrade by being merged with the Far Zenith print facility, so now regular machines will be more capable than ever.
All regular machines will now be friendly, going about their usual restoration efforts. NEMESIS variant machines will be the ones you now face, considering the planet will be overrun with them. There won't be room to have Aloy fighting both HEPHESTUS and NEMESIS machines, so I think this is how it will be handed.
Cauldrons will now be used to arm the various tribes. Chiefs & other high ranking members will all be given Focuses so that they can learn & understand the enemy they now face. This will allow them to each learn of the looming threat off-screen, vs having constant exposition dumps. They will also have access to Cauldrons & machines to arm themselves.
There will probably be a Human of some sort who wishes to abuse this power & undermine the planet's efforts. They will end up double crossing everyone in an attempt for power. They may even try to join forces with NEMESIS, aka the side they believe to be the winning one.
These will serve as the two major conflicts in the game, as well as NEMESIS itself which may adopt a human/machine hybrid form, complete with Far Zenith shielding and an extremely unstable personality. Hence the "bug" the Far Zeniths ran into when trying to back up their memories digitally. Perhaps Aloy will be able to somehow appeal to the Tilda portion of NEMESIS' stored memories & use that to her advantage in the final battle.
Would love to see people come back to this comment years in the future in order to see how accurate I was with these predictions.
And the next game will be called Horizon : Genesis

Don't get me wrong, I love this game, but its kinda bullshit that everyone's just like its totally okay that she blew up the bullwark because everyone got off in time. Someone could have easily died, and that was super reckless.

Hmm, hard to say. I mean, the time passes faster than in real life and the map is condensed compared to real life as well. If I had to guess, i would say the game takes place over the course of a couple of months.
