Nice to read that this organ comes from Belgium. Taverne American was located in Lokeren, where I was born and lived. As a little boy I often went with my grandparents, and was fascinated by the organ. Next to the Taverne American there was another dance hall Dierentuin, where there was also an organ. Finally there was the Decap 105t special with three accordions.
@@chrishelderweirdt9174 Thank you for sharing your memories of this organ! Tavern American had quite a few different over the years, at least 2 or 3 other Decap organs before this 105 key Mortier.
I think ABBA’s Money Money Money works really nicely on a Decap. I always thought that song sounded like a tango originally. It’s one of my favourite Abba tunes.
2:31 Roulette. The others i have no idea as Belgian songs are not my strong point!, some are so obscure even the Belgians don't know what they are, lol!
great to see and hear
Thank you!
A wonderful sound!

@@HarryYT22 Yes, it suits the organ very well! I don't know who arranged it but I suspect it's the work of Albert Decap.
@@MechanicalMusicTravels it’s actually Dick Gillet and a rather good arrangement of his! It’s one of three ABBA songs on this book.
@@perleeman I had a feeling it was either one or the other - I had a 50% chance of getting the right answer! 🤣
12:30 It's actually "Katjusha", a popular Russian folk song
Alright i've looked it up and although it is really that song, everywhere it is labeled as Kasatschok.
