Great video, Mr Miotke! I think my favorite part of the expo was the conversations. It was nice to connect with some likeminded folks. The scaping contest was a blast, too. My first time ever competing. I went from being super nervous to feeling quite comfortable. Thanks again, for the advice and your friendly demeanor, sir!

Great video, once again, Jeff! It was a pleasure meeting you and speaking with you at the event. I have to say, my favorite parts were the aquascaping contest and the aquariums that were staged at the Oase booth. I said I wasn’t going to bring home a fish. However, I technically didn’t get “a” fish. I bought 9 fish and quite a few plants for my 29 gallon aquarium, and decorative rock formations for a future cichlid build. It was an amazing weekend! I cannot wait to go to Aquashella in Daytona!

Thanks for the feedback on my 3d printed stuff. It was cool seeing one of my skimmer fixes in the wild!
Yea the skimmer fix works well. Its been almost a month now and I have had no issues with them. Thanks for making a cool product. Very innovative!

Great video Jeff! It was amazing to meet you. I’ve only been in this community for about a year, and have made such incredible connections. It’s great to know there are people out there who like to nerd out about the same stuff as I do, that also like to spread the knowledge they have learned over the years. Thank you so much for the compliments, critiques and overall friendliness at the expo! (I was scape #7 in the competition) I hope I can see you again soon :)
You did a wonderful job on your contest tank. A few tweaks and you will be walking away with the trophies next time! Keep on practicing and let your imagination continue to run. I loved hanging out with you and like I always say....give me a cold beverage and Ill talk tanks all day!
I was only able to pop into the convention for a couple hours on Saturday, but still had a lot of fun. Oase booth was very nice. The naturalistic aquarium set up by Project Piaba was a standout for me. Next year I am hoping to be able to enter the aquascaping contest.
I was trying to recall the Piaba tank as it was right behind the curtain from the OASE booth. And I can't for the life of me remember this tank. The contests are so much fun so yes go for it!
I like the bramble scape , I think that it would make a great shrimp tank.
Yea Shelby is really coming on lately. She also placed 2nd in the live aquascaping contest at Aquashella Dallas last month.
