GORGEOUS!🤗💗🧶 … sometimes, washing on COLD delicate cycle alone in a laundry mesh bag and using the Cool FLUFF setting in the dryer just to remove excess water, and then AIR dry works too for me - especially for blankets & afghans

I bought 2 cakes yesterday, I saw them last time I went to Michaels and told myself no but then I couldn't stop thinking about them and I finally gave in. They are just so softttttt and vibrant colors!! i'm going to make that granny square shawl that was on the display in the store lol
My grandma crocheted, and did beautiful work. I didn't grow up near her, so when I was interested in learning how to crochet, it was before TH-cam. She wouldn't have known how to use the internet. Anyway, the blank in the background, looks like one she made me. When I finally able to visit her, she showed me a few things, and then gave me patterns. They are in a booklet, and many are so old. She gave me all of her crochet things. I just had to tell you. 🩷 (Been very busy working, so not around as much. Blessings to you! ❤

I only just discovered roving yarn as I'm only less than a year into this. I loved spun colors by premiere and ferris wheel by lion brand. I'm ruined for plain old yarn now. Can't wait to try this one. 😍 ❤ thank you, Crystal. You have taught me so very much this year!
Hint: don't waste your time to play with plain yarn; it's just not as pretty, not as easy to crochet, & you could get discouraged because it isn't what you thought it'd be like. I tried a red heart saver in plain red when I started, making beanies. It was stiff, scratchy, & hard to hold to crochet with. I made one beanie, haven't used it again. It took several years to read a remark that said when it's stiff, it washes out nice & soft. Still, it felt gross to crochet with. Hang in there! & watch lots videos. My favorites are Bag O'Day, Crochet Crowd, & Crochet Granny. They're all very easy to watch & understand!🧡💜❤️

Takes me multiple times watching to get the pattern cuz my memory is not what it should be. My learning ability has changed too. But I pushed onward.
