I think it will eventually be like St George day in the UK which was deemed politically incorrect due to Scottish concerns . St George day is very low key but people still celebrate it , although they are kind of looked down upon as chavs ( UK bogan ) or right wingers by polite society. It was strange living there and St Patrick's day was really commercial and pushed by the media ; but St George day was kind of invisible without the correct spectacles on. I was in Bristol and London . It may be different in other parts of the country.
