He actually knows what happens after death, but once you open up the rabbit hole he has to explain everything else, then he has to prove everything he says and explain the nature of existence.
Hence why he referenced his book.

I don't need to take Crack in order to know that's bad.
I find Sadhaguru's highly contradictory. He tells people not to be educated and remain pure from any influences. Yet, he is on a stage influencing minds. His act and his words are not aligning but in fact contradicting. On one video, he tells us not to take positions on anything and let yourself go with endless possibilities. It almost seems similar to the Christian telling you not to judge. Only to turn around and call Alexander the great an idiot. Well, isn't that taking a position? It sure seems that way. It makes his point ridiculous because he is taking position on a guy whom he never met or spoke to or know. Here is another contradiction in his teaching. He tells us that intelligence is not only in the brain but throughout our body cells. However, in the story he told us about a Yogi who saved himself from being killed by Alexander the great soldiers by saying "if you cut my head, you won't get my intelligence ". That's another funny contradiction because Sadhaguru comments that the Yogi expressed wisdom and intelligence 🤣.
I can add another contradiction, Sadhaguru told us that he is very proud for being an uneducated indian man. It is as if he was telling the British that they may have colonized India at one time. However, there are those who can't be colonized. While all that can be perceived as admirable. He, Sadhaguru expects us to be educated by an uneducated man. It would be like a blind leading the blind. Isn't it? Hello?🤣He said I rather say I don't know than say I know. Ask yourselves the following question, would Sadhaguru would have been a hindu if he had grown up in Nebraska? I hope you are getting my point. Sadhaguru is in denial, he has already been influenced by his culture and geography. He also said that religion gives confidence by narrowing or anchoring the mind on specific teaching. He even gave an analogy, how the miday sun shines bright everywhere but at around 4 pm it tends to be selective. That's so interesting that Sadhaguru said that. Because he almost sounds like the Apostles of Christ, saying to the people, "the kingdom of God is at hand, repent and accept the body of Christ" The only problem is Sadhaguru isn't about selective teaching or tradition. In fact in my point Sadhaguru is a victim of his teaching and his stand on religion. For example he says "belief" gives confidence but no clarity. This means Sadhaguru lacks confidence while he thinks he has clarity. That within itself is troublesome. Remember, he admitted he doesn't know anything and yet he said with certainty people don't go to heaven. You can measure this as an opinion, belief or knowledge. He trips and fall each times he speaks. It is entertaining.....
Now let's review his answers on heaven and our souls. He said since souls don't eat, why go to a heaven where there's food or virgins?
In Christianity, heaven where good souls go.They don't go there for food or virgins but yes they have white clothes. Now Sadhaguru then said, that I didn't know these people until I meet them or know of their existence. Therefore until I know they exist, why say I know the unknown? Seconds later he said I was given a life. Therefore he came from essence into an existence....there's a contradiction there too.
Who gave him life? His mother? I hope not because all she did is have sex, get pregnant and deliver him. Another words, she didn't create him nor did his dad. So Sadhaguru slips and fall. In Christianity, a person is born with a soul. It is extremely important to know that a person's soul doesn't have a pre existence to his physical body. The soul is born exactly at the same time as the physical body is born. The reason for that is the everlasting curse from which body and soul must be saved in order to be a new body and a new soul. Meaning free of the everlasting curse while daily sins are cleansedvia repentance. This everlasting curse was given to Prophet Moses in Deuteronomy 28:44-46 along with the everlasting Law and the everlasting priesthood to the Levites who were slaughtered by the rabbinic Judaism later on...In a nutshell our souls have a physical appearance however don't have the need for food, sex or restrooms. However, they are to worship the word of God like angels do.
So souls have a purpose in heaven. When you look at Sadhaguru and his notion of reincarnation you realize that you have never seen anyone reincarnated. Sure the rabbinic jews who killed the chosen Levites priests which I had mentioned earlier may believe in reincarnation to hide their pedophilia but let's be honest. This is something Sadhaguru believes in but has never ever seen. So he either lied or contradicted his earlier statements. Plus what need would a soul have to switch bodies at expiration date only to come back as a dog or elephant? Isn't he telling us that he is immortal? Sadhaguru tells us that he recognized his mother's hypocrisy as she told him she loves him only to ask her if she would have loved him the same if he wasn't hers. This means Sadhaguru is in search of unconditional love. However there's no such thing. Even God loves us conditionally. For instance Jesus is quoted saying in john15:10 if you do the will of father as I did, you will remain in my love
This means if you don't do the law, you aren't in his love more do you enter heaven. He told those who prenteded to be Christians, go away, I don't know you....you workers of iniquity. ...
I think in short, Sadhaguru 's teaching is a cry for help

I dunno why he was playing defensive here. Things he was talking about was different concepts heaven in various religion and most of them have multiple heavens and heaven also differ like he said. Also few are materialistic others not really.
Other thing about the soul was not every religion has concept of soul it's just wrong translation. Like Hinduism has 'Atman' but after colonization it was translated poorly translated to soul which is absolutely incorrect.

      @@d4wn455
The fact that he found hypocrisy in the love his mother gave him is great. I agree with him. I too had that same exact experience. Try to define hypocrisy and you have described women. The Adam and Eve story is really all about that. That's why God said the will of the man shall preside over the woman's. Although I had that same exact experience which Sadhaguru described, it led me to a different conclusion.
I realized that human beings do not possess the ability to create.Only God has the ability to create. Human being have the ability to "invent" but not create. The difference of the 2 lies on inspiration. In order to create, you do not need inspiration but in order to invent you need to be inspired by something. If we agree on that, God has put rules which he wants us to follow. Therefore his love towards us will be extremely conditional. However, those who follow him will be required to give unconditional love to him.
After all, that is the first commandment. Love God with all your heart, soul, will and power.
This very commandment was best accomplished by only one human being. That person was the virgin Mary. She loved Jesus not because he was of her flesh but because she knew her child was "light" for all men.
Another word, she loved him not out off human hypocrisy but because she worshiped him. Unconditional love is for God and conditional is the love we get from him. If we humans exchange conditional love, that love will expire.
Since Sadhaguru doesn't have a God, he will search this universe for unconditional love. His effort will be invaine.
Sadhaguru sees that moment with his mother as the moment which gave him a head start from other Hindus or yogis. He believes that being detached from every cultural, religious and social influences will help sharpen your physical organs to remain alert to the universe. Sadhaguru believes that humanity must remain good in its selfishness. Remember, he expected "unconditional love" from his mother but he realized he was loved "conditionally " instead. Sadhaguru is striving to undo conditional love into unconditional love.
It's really that simple. The problem with that is, both conditionally and unconditional love have their own purpose. Sadhaguru didn't understand their purpose because he doesn't believe in a creator. Unconditional love is faith and obedience to God and conditional love is the blessing of righteousness. Sadhaguru said it's an exchange which he was right .But at this moment he is only exchanging "conditional love" with people and not with God. You try to exchange conditional love with people and that love will only diminish.

@Quran Translation - English Only The nature of knowledge of Brahman is that “I am pure consciousness.” The self-ignorance of the jīva (individuated self) that “I am limited” is replaced by the Brahman-knowledge that “I am everything,” accompanied by a re-identification of the self with the transcendental Brahman. The knower of Brahman sees the one non-plural reality in everything. He or she no longer gives an absolute reality to independent and limited existence of the world, but experiences the world as a creative expression of pure consciousness.
the pure subjectivity-the Self or Brahman-can never become the object of knowledge, just as the object can never be the subject.
It is the mind and the sense organ which relates the cognizing self to the object. The self alone is the knower and the rest are knowable as objects of knowledge. At the same time the existence of mind is indubitable. It is the mind that helps to distinguish between various perceptions. It is because of the self-luminous (svata-prakāṣa) nature of pure consciousness that the subject knows and the object is known.
consciousness is the very nature of the Self and inseparable from It.” The cognizing self, the known object, the object-knowledge, and the valid means of knowledge (pramāṅa) are essentially the manifestations of one pure consciousness.

This is why it’s hard to take this podcast seriously or listen to it in any prolonged capacity. Logan asks a seriously question about heaven. The guest attempts to answer and as he’s answering Logan interrupts him to ask if the guest has “seen those sacks” referring to the guests reference to planting a tree. Then because mike can’t let anyone speak for long and especially can’t let Logan speak without replying himself he makes a dumb ass comment about a girl saying “we’re all just stardust” It’s messes up the continuity of the dialog, makes the guest feel like it’s all a joke and then we don’t get the best of the guest because the guest feels like a jackass for coming on a show that is effectively making fun of his answers. Please for the love of god, have respect for the people you bring to the show. Show them that respect and learn how to have a dialog, a give and take, that allows for humor naturally instead of manufacturing it at the expense of a guest.

It is a priceless jewel which has got no substitute in value. So in movements and talks, and in sorrows and happiness, such a priceless breath should not be spent in vain. To destroy it is to court destruction. An intelligent man cannot lose it. When a man gets up at dawn, he should enter into an agreement with himself just as a tradesman contracts with his partner. At that time, he should address his mind thus: O mind, you have been given no other property as precious as life. When it will end, the principal will end and despondency will come in seeking profit in business. Today is a new day. Allah has given you time, that is, He has delayed your death. He has bestowed upon you innumerable gifts. Think that you are already dead. So don't waste time. Every breath is a precious jewel. Man has got for each day and night twenty-four treasure houses in twenty-four hours. Fill up these then find them filled up with divine sights in the world next. If they are not filled up with good works, they will be filled up with intense darkness wherefrom a bad stench will come out and envelop them all around. Another treasure house will neither give him happiness nor sorrow. That is an hour in which he slept, or was careless, or was engaged in any lawful work of this world. He will feel grieved for its remaining vacant."

For those who are saying he is not answering the question you need to understand that there is no ONE answer or THE answer. He always talks like that.
I see this problem often with a lot of western people or people with western thought. Which is not wrong btw. But they always want one answer. Something concrete and direct if its not then suddenly he not answering the question or he is must be talking out of his ass, there is no logic. You won't get that from Sadhguru. People who live around dharmic culture understands that there is no one answer or one truth there are many possibilities hence the way he talks. He allows you to think for yourself cause the moment he gives answers our our only choice is to believe his words or not to believe his words. He answers in a way which allows you to think for yourself gives you the upper hand to make your own truth but with directions. He just points at the directions you have to chose your directions and make your way. You have to scratch your head and think for yourself for once instead of having everything be spoon feed to you and especially when talking about subjects as vast as these its best that he allows you to think.
Its really sad the people think he doesn't know what he is talking about. Its obvious these people don't know who he is or what he doing for the world
Not only is helping with mental health but the environment as well.

Life and death are polar opposites. To know life is to know death. Knowing thyself is the resolution of any questioning constituting death. Therfore, also any question regarding life. So the question is not what is before life or what is after death? The question becomes Who am I? Or who is experiencing my experience? Or what is the nature of reality? Different questions leading to the same experience. We think we know who we are, therefore, we think we know what things are. When in order to know what things are you have to first know what you are.
