As a og at 54 the first and only Jordan 4's I ever had were the original og 1989 bred 4's and they were not very comfortable so I never got another pair of 4's until I won these new 4 reimagined on the shock drop. These are definitely going into my rotation and on feet asap.
I got you beat, OG. I’m 60 and can’t remember when I got my first pair of 4’s. I just remember that they were all white. I wasn’t going to cop these, but; I knew it would be a challenge because of all the hype. I took L’s on all the apps and major retailers. Snipes finally came through for me after I waited in the queue for 45 minutes to an hour. The challenge of trying to cop and my upcoming birthday are the only reasons I went for it. They’re aight. I guess I’ve gotten numb to Jordans. A new release literally comes out every week.

I paid resale for mine, had GOAT credit already so the balance was basically like paying retail. That’s how we grabbed everything by camping out in the 80s/90s (shoes, tickets, XMAS gifts) all without worrying about bots! Took L on the shock drop but my buddy was able to snag a pair for me. Walked into my local DSG in SW VA at opening yesterday with my son and secured 2 more pairs. Waiting on EA for JD/FL this week to complete the release. These are must cop and double up. The old hang tags were made of clear plastic that was VERY thick and sturdy. I’ve got my old orange hang tags from my VIs back in 91-92. These are EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE. I love them. Wore them out today actually
I sold my 2019 pair last year. Wasn’t feeling the nubuck and the toe box on my wide foot. Yesterday I walked into my DSG around noon and got signed up for this pair. They had a pair in a case and they look really nice. These will be much easier to keep clean and fit is better
Congrats on the pickup!!! I can’t wait to get a pair on feet! I forgot to mention in the video that the collar area seems extra padded and with that soft leather I bet the comfort is way better than the norm.

I was one of people that was excited about the leather for this pair. As much as I love the OG's materials, I generally prefer leather. For example, my friend has a pair of the Jordan 4 Black Oreos from a while back and to this day the leather on those shoes still looks good. I hope I can secure a pair for retail as I've never owned a pair of the black cement 4s. Good luck to you and everyone who's trying for them.

Do you think comfort improved on these newer pairs? honestly never owned a pair of 4's but have heard they aren't the most comfortable Jordan. Just wanted to hear your opinion from someone who owned older pairs.
This pair was a friends and not my size so I haven’t had them on feet yet. However, they’re crazy soft and have a ton of extra padding around the ankle (they remind me of the SB 4s). I’m grabbing my pair Saturday and those are for the toe. I bet they’re more comfortable than most 4s, but not something I’d want on feet for extended periods of time.
I really like them, but I'd rather pick up the last nubuk retro before buying these. The leather looks to be good on these. It looks similar quality to the what the 4s and dunk from above 4s. Try selling 2 or 3 old pairs. I sold a 2 pairs that I wore but in good condition for 150 each and now it's going to pay for these bad boys

The leather looks to be good on these. It looks similar quality to the what the 4s and dunk from above 4s.
