Not only the way Babuji followed his principle, he adjusted accordingly after experiencing what he needs to live in human society, still he never left it and followed it. Not to mention the amount of details in environment and characters in this movie was one of the closest I have ever experienced.

This movie is a gem. Shows India in it's true essence. What dialogues, what characters, Rajat Sir please make more such content. It should not be lost. Also, the most underrated lyrics and music as well. Real cinema. To be a part of such a movie is a blessing in itself. I have watched it more than 8 times. Still love it.

Mr Rajat Kapoor, do u actually read the comment section ? thank u for this movie ! a splendid story of middle class life and outstanding performance of each and every one. but mr Mishra took the cake obviously. the philosophic touch, the pathos , the spontaneous continuity maintained throughout almost gives you the feeling of watching a real segment of life. Mr Kapoor u are talented which is bad news bcuz place is overpopulated and dominated by mediocrity.

This movie is a masterpiece. Fantastic work by Rajat Kapoor. The best thing I like in this is "reality"; every character has a story, everyone is struggling within their own life. Not like any average Bollywood film where the whole story is roaming around main characters (hero-heroin).
The level of craftsmanship and artistry was truly impressive. The story was engaging and thought-provoking, and it left a lasting impact on me. I am in awe of the talent and hard work of everyone involved in the making of this film.

Took me back with nostalgia, to the time 20 years ago when we used to have big joint families. Less technology, lesser facilities, lesser money, but more time to spend with our close ones.
Such a thought provoking film....Not bothering about others' opinions, and perceiving things/persons directly with an open mind devoid of prejudices as the protagonist did is probably the best way to know the truth about them. But, one would do well to remember that our senses have limited capacity and their perceptions can be misleading and unreliable too. Over reliance on senses without using one"s intellect, one may end up like a deer chasing a mirage in the desert instead of flying like a free bird in the sky.
@@vikashpandey9230 Tbh, I am not familiar with Kant's philosophy though I have heard of him. I am into Advaita Vedanta which says absolute reality cannot be known by senses, mind and even intellect. The supreme truth can only be realized by purified heart.
