I have been a fan of the Red Mist because of not how the mobility is present, but also the satisfying feeling of the pure action you have to face. Red Mist on its own is a great and dangerous juggernaut, if the music isn't enough to power you up, the players will drain your HP and truly feel what I mean (i played uncertified with red mist 2000 health and got to say, without this, it would have took a day to win). Im gonna also mention the cool combos you can do while learning its mechanics and pull off some crazy trickshot with this. If you are the juggernaut, its always recommended to lock in and act quick, cause in every corner, there's a ranger or melee user, which some people aren't doing but this video shows what it looks like to be. (I have been thinking about actually scaring people with JGN but I don't think that's common lol) This video is amazing and I think this is how you can explain other people to get better at JGN and actually learn how it feels to play like the Red Mist and the adrenaline that comes from taking the least damage possible. It may be good to stress that finishing off players is necessary. Red mist’s damage is in combos, and the short intervals between the combos are how she gets damaged (at which point you better be behind a wall). You don’t want to waste a big combo on someone just for them to return 40 seconds later, with a full healthbar and the same annoyingness factor. You may be called a targetter, but it’s better than being at a disadvantage due to your mercy.
I wouldn't say it's absolutely necessary, there's always exceptions to the rule. It's a matter of what items they and the people around them have. But most of the time, yes, you will want to finish off people you've already committed a combo to.
thanks to your guide I play better with red mist now! your guides are very helpful because I used to not mind the incoming damage and just be in a crowd, killing some people until the moment I die, but now I have an option to retreat and separate some people 😅
great guide, i play more carelessly but confident knowing that id destroy everyone regardless of what they do and in rare cases just use horizontal split to help with the remains lmao (the only thing that ever killed me was dumb ahh onrush glitch which for whatever reason decides to climb a wall on criticalstrike making me climbing over it into lava...)
i always stall as Red Mist just so i can pop that second EGO lol, even if i can do an EGO-less run, i just stay still and let others hit me because greater split: horizontal is just too fun, and just slowly walking towards the last player with your EGO is just cool too good vid, did say the techs nicely
2:27 there is also another way to prevent this. After Landing an onrush immediately turn 180 to the back . that will CONFRIM the second hit and will infact launch them back to you to continue your combo.
Big issue with that is that it tends to be unpredictable (and thus unreliable) at times, it's less consistent than just hitting them near a wall when possible. Plus, it makes for an easier follow up to go right near to them using the 2nd onrush to initiate a combo from your close position.

It takes time but you gotta exercise the free will of the human spirit! Use it only to disengage and engage, and don't use it near ledges unless you're really confident that you're not going to fall off... I decided not to tech into the "hijab method" (as that's too easy) and instead opted to cover most of the body with a low-vis texture to min-max puritanism while drawing less attention with the exception of the visible midriff and small amount of area above the knee. An expert doesn't need an advanced guide.
