on the motorsport uk site it now cites BIKC and teamsport as *the* entry point into the sport, but the competitive races are expected to be run roughly like public sessions which does not reflect the passion and dedication that these kids have for the sport. if kids footy was run anything like the same there would be uproar especially if it were branded with the equivalent of FA/FIFA endorsement as BIKC is with MSUK/FIA.
This is something that always fascinates me in regards to management, senior management and higher-ups in any place. It's usually the people who shouldn't have these positions having said positions. It's a system I want to break. Without proper management the lower positions will be stressed out, overwhelmed and fed-up, there's no proper leadership. I don't blame the parents, nor the Marshals or anyone working in positions that's not management. But I thank you for these videos though, it always helps me with my notes and who not to hire.

In the app mate, on Mondays there’s race academy league. They’re the junior races. Ask your local track nxt time your in mate, tell them you want race in the academy races.
@@ryzevr8814 quickest way to improve is get out and race with some quick juniors. First few races we ever did, we was at the back. Good vid on our channel called “indoor cadets to junior Rotax” gives a good insight on how you can progress mate. Keep getting your bum in the seat as often as you can 😀

Teamsport at the moment is not an example of how the sport should be entered. Far from it. Severely understaffed and for this reason the current staff get all the grief as the powers at be hide behind the piles of money we spend. Clean drivers have got no chance on track as 90% of penalties are missed due to the lack of marshals to see them!
Agreed, they are also not consistent when it comes to the rules. A guy at locals got disqualified for being 0.2 kg under the minimum weight for his class yet at regionals there was a guy who was fine with being almost 0.5 under at the beginning.
Teamsport is a joke, since august the members races on a thursday have been chaos and completely out of order. After the members event the other week I have been left with not being able to go to work and currently bed bound cos i cannot walk due to severe sciatica caused by a crash at warrington that i had no control of avoiding which was caused by shocking driving standards of an individual that was causing mayhem the week before and I have been advised by the doctor that i need to hang my karting boots up unfortunately so my karting career is most likely over now
@AndersLadAndDad yeah hopefully it will get better but I know one thing, if I am able to step back in a go kart I will be avoiding teamsport unless they change which i doubt and just do outdoor karting
@@LP_Karting the outdoor karting is a better call mate, don’t get me wrong you can still get these issues at done outdoor venues. But less overall I’d say.
Got to feel sorry for the staff at Warrington. Understaffed and clearly underfunded and it’s apparently Teamsports flagship site? The track’s had kart issues since it reopened as electric but now they’re truly awful. I thought they’d at least get a new fleet for BIKC nationals to alleviate some of the issues but no, it’s gonna be the same fleet 💀 it’s only when you go to other tracks, minus tracks like Leeds, where 95% of the fleet are actually balanced. Warrington has about 3 good karts and the rest are average at best. Also, kart batteries dying after 10 minutes is getting more and more common. It’s a shame because the track is genuinely enjoyable to race on, but Teamsport seriously need to sort their shit out if they want BIKC to be considered a serious entry level competition.
The karts are only so bad cos they cba and let the public destroy them, when I've been to Liverpool or elsewhere they was straight away shouting or black flagging for any poor/really slow driving or playing bumper cars with there mates where warrington just let it happen so can't blame teamsport when the warrington staff don't care apart from like 2 of the staff members
@@LP_Karting no I agree there are some staff that doesn’t care, but I wouldn’t if I was barely getting paid over minimum wage and my contracted hours are getting cut 🤣 Also the track doesn’t help as it’s so bouncy but still, the amount of money the company makes they should be keeping the fleet in good condition

If your getting low 52s mate, basically the right kart and there 51s. A touch more seat time will help with rhythm, will always improve you.

@@scotstier382 get as much seat time as you possibly can mate, the best kids usually are the ones in the kart the most.
Not to sound pessimistic or anything but the chances of making it to formula one are about 1 in 9 million.

It's always is really bad when BIKC comes around. When quick drivers goto other tracks they aren't familiar with it always causes chaos.
