    They are master composers going back to their early classical training on piano days. They just don’t miss!

    You are NOT wrong about Pau (POW) the drummer), she really is amazing but i will never take anything away from the fact that all 3 are such amazing artist. It is still crazy to me that a 55 year old man (me) is so in love with rock music again but its these 3 very young artist that make it happen for me. Fun fact, Dany was singing in French while i was wrapping this comment up. Thanks for checking these ladies out again, keep after them, they are worth it.

      Ale is so good and I always feel sorry that she seems to get ignored by some reactors.

    • @R-Mouse2299
      @R-Mouse2299 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Some reactors do not know how to listen to the individual instruments while reacting. Those that do, they comment on several aspects of a performance. I personally believe that Ale is a phenomenal bass player and her voice while doing backing vocals is out of this world. I also believe she does a great job of singing, but it has been said many times that she lacks the confidence to sing lead. I am hopeful that she will find her self a great big bucket of self-confidence somewhere in the future and just let it rip for us all because I think she has the ability to literally blow our minds if she does.

    *Amour* comes from a 15 second clip of a scene in the movie "Ratatouille"... the camera is looking through a hole in the wooden floor... the camera shows us two characters below having a fight... maybe a lover's quarrel? i don't remember... anyway, they are arguing, they suddenly hug each other, and it is done; end clip... Pau saw this scene and here we are enjoying another fantastic song 😹

    They are still young ladies but they've been composing and arranging their own music for about 10 years now, and they're also heavily involved in the production process as well. When Ale started playing bass her father Luis asked an old friend, bassist Pablo González Sarre of pop band Los Claxons, if he could tutor her. It wasn't long before he was also teaching the girls how to be a band, and how to write songs. He would assign each of them homework to write a song in a specific genre (usually on piano), then arrange it for all the band instruments, then he would critique their work at their next meeting. Later they wanted to learn how to record their music so Pablo enlisted his band's producer, Jake Carmona. This was still in 2014 when they were 14-12-9. That summer their cover of "Enter Sandman" (recorded only for friends and family to see) went viral and they began thinking about continuing their training, so they decided they'd crowdfund the money needed to attend a summer session at Berklee School of Music in Boston. As part of the crowdfunding Jake was asked to do a final mix on some of their homework songs, which were then released in early 2015 as an iTunes EP called "Escape the Mind". The girls, of course, were present at the mixing, soaking it all in. After they attended Berklee in the summer of 2015 they used the remaining homework songs as the starting point for their first full album, "XXI Century Blood" which was released in 2016 when they were 16-14-11. Carmona did the album production, but he was so ably assisted by the girls that he allowed them to receive professional co-producer credits. When you digest all that history you begin to understand why their music is so "simple" yet complex, and why people say they have an impossibly large sound for a trio. Pau usually starts the process as a rock ballad on piano, then all three of them arrange and "electrify" the score until they are satisfied with the result. Their manager (Rudy Joffroy) says he never knows what they're working on until they turn in what amounts to a final mix that gets tweaked a little more in the recording studio. Not your average rock band....

    Totally understand the trouble with names thing. a good trick to remember one of them, Paulina is the drummer. She goes by Pau which is pronounced like pow, so just imagine all the old comic book pow graphics they used to use when they hit a bad guy they way she hits those drums. the others are Dany on guitar and Ale on bass.

    Dany has a pretty solid vocal range. I am particularly enamored with her towards the higher end with her mixed belt where she’s really powerful.
    You’ve heard Pau sing 23 and seen what a beautiful emotive voice she has and maybe at some point you can check out Ale singing lead on a couple songs like Red Hands Never Fade or Hunter.

    You be you my friend. I already know the song. I come here to listen to what you have to say about it. I very much appreciate your commentary. I am curious what others think about this band that I have found myself following like no other I have found in the last 25 years. Stop when you want. Back up a bit. Give us your thoughts, questions, comments, critiques. Then keep moving forward. It's all good.
    This is one of my favorite songs form this album. The drum-bass combo on this song is so strong and interesting. Really a good track.

    I think Pau is a bit like AC/DCs Phil Rudd . . A Clean beat . . I liken it to a metronome . . . On score . . Clean and desisive . . . With these ladys . . Even tho they have had training in thier respective instruments . They take on board what theyve been shown . They crave knowledge . . They crave to be better . . Love them . . ❤ . . Great reaction . .👍

    And if you hadn't already fallen in love with Dany, wait for the last verse when she busts out the French lyrics. Dayum, girl! :D

    Quick tip to remember their names that also happens to be the acronym that the fans use, is DPA which contains the first letter of each of their first name in order of descending age.
    D = Daniela = Dany = 23 years old
    P = Paulina = Pau = 21
    A = Alejandra = Ale = 18
    To remember their age another trick is just remember that Dany was born at the beginning of 2000, so her age is simply the year except in January, then Pau has a 2 years difference with Dany so the current year-2 which is 21 and Ale usually is 3 years behind Pau, so 21-3 which is 18, except at the end of the year and in January where the difference is only 2 years.

    i just had a thought... contrast this one, *Amour* , with *Crimson Queen* from the "Queen of the Murder Scene" album...
    both are "love stories" but there are a few important differences between them 😜

      @@BeardWizardMan, I'm afraid @donaldungurait2639 is right, your video appears to be missing the first few minutes of your reaction, or at least first part of the song. That doesn’t appear to have anything to do with "processing" (?)... 🤨

      @@Hans_Reese Appreciate the heads up everyone, but it can take awhile for YT to process a live stream. Usually it's only a few minutes, sometimes longer. The full stream shows 16 minutes and when you start it it's only 11. It will be there, it always is. They seem to be slow tonight.

    Tady někdo lže! Tvrdíš, žes to ještě neslyšel a zároveň ještě před poslechem, že to má špatný zvuk! Tak tenhle koncert má jeden z nejlepších zvuků cos kdy mohl slyšet, ale Ami jsou ulhaní jako vždy!!! Oni mají vše lepší! 🤪 Someone's lying! You say you haven't heard it yet, and at the same time, before listening to it, that it has a bad sound! So this concert has one of the best sounds you could ever hear, but Ami are as lying as ever!!! They have everything better! 🤪

      I always listen to the song first before I review it, and the audio recording on that video wasn't great. Not the bands fault but it was not a good recording
