  • This is a homage to Fremont Street in Las Vegas from a dirt road to multimillion dollar extravaganza. I made this video during the CoVid shut down to fill the time. To create this piece I reviewed a multitude of images through Google and TH-cam searches and Facebook pages and enhanced them to 1080p using a variety of techniques. I also used movie and television shows, music videos and my own archives. Great thanks to Ginger Bruner for her photos and my consultants Anthony Bondi, Joshua Abbey, Brian Paco Alvarez, Rick Hooper, Dennis McBride, Jay Nietling, Tom Hawley and others who I have missed. Thanks to the city of Las Vegas the Early Years for their wonderful footage. • The City of Las Vegas:...

The amount of progress from 1905 to 1935 alone is amazing. Imagine living in Las Vegas just during that time and all the change you would’ve seen.

One thing about Vegas is that it's a city of economics first. There's no sentimentality to be had. If it's old, decrepit and no longer making money, it's going to get knocked down and something bigger and better is going to be built in its place. That's why the skyline and vibe changes so much. In 100 years, we won't even recognize Vegas anymore from what it is today. Heck, maybe even in just 20-30 years, that'll already be true.
