Hi, I'm completing brand new to crocheting and plan to do this pattern, but I was wondering how do you tie off/finish the seeds without it being noticeable that it's the seed that you finished on?
pattern in English :) Strawberry body: - Make magic circle. Round 1: 8 single crochets in the magic circle. Round 2: 2 single crochets in each of the previous stitches. Round 3: 1 single crochet, 1 increase (2 in 1), *repeat until the end of the round. Rounds 4 and 5: 1 single crochet in each stitch until the end of the round. Round 6: 1,1,2,1,1,2 (2 single crochets, 1 increase) *repeat until the end of the round. Round 7: 1 single crochet in each stitch until the round is finished. Round 8: 1,1,1,2,1,1,1,2 (3 single crochets, 1 increase) *repeat until the end of the round. Rounds 9 and 10: 1 single crochet in each stitch until the round is finished. Round 11: 1,1,1,1,2,1,1,1,1,2 (4 single crochets, 1 increase) *repeat until the end of the round. Round 12: 1 single crochet in each stitch until the round is finished. Round 13: 1,1,1,1,1,2 | 1,1,1,1,1,2 (5 single crochets, 1 increase) *repeat until the end of the round. Rounds 14 and 15: 1 single crochet in each stitch until the round is finished. Round 16: 1,1,1,1,1,1,2 | 1,1,1,1,1,1,2 (6 single crochets, 1 increase) *repeat until the end of the round. Rounds 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21: 1 single crochet in each stitch until the round is finished. - Attention: From now on rounds with decreases! Round 22: 1,1,1,1,1,1, 1 on 2 | 1,1,1,1,1,1, 1 in 2 (6 single crochets, 1 decrease) *repeat until the end of the round. Round 23: 1 single crochet in each stitch until the round is finished. Basically, “V” or “heart” shapes are made wherever you want. | Stem and leaves: (I recommend watching the video to understand this part easier) - Make magic circle. Round 1: 8 single crochets in the magic circle. Round 2: Working only in the back loop, make single crochets until the end of the round. Rounds 3, 4 and 5: Now working on the stitches normally, make single crochets until the end of the round. I'm a beginner & I completed this as my first ever project! Thank you for being so helpful and clear in the video. I really enjoyed making this and learning from you
Hi, I'm completing brand new to crocheting and plan to do this pattern, but I was wondering how do you tie off/finish the seeds without it being noticeable that it's the seed that you finished on?
It took me abt 9 hours to complete & I am IN LOVEEEE with it, As a beginner I love how well she explains everything and can’t wait to make more “plushies” from her TH-cam channel 💜💜💜
Absolutely love how mine turned out! I’ve been crocheting for almost a whole year now, and this is the first stuffed project I’ve done & the first project I’ve done with fluffy yarn after being intimidated by it lol. I highly suggest, and would suggest that beginners try this too! Very easy to make and only took me about 4-5 hours!
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I loved it and felt so accomplished when I finished! I did add a bit of poly in my stem just to make sure it never flopped over
I used size 25mm yarn and hook and I had to change the start of it a little bit. But it's SO MUCH bigger than yours I've already gone through 3 balls of this bulk yarn after row 11. I'm so excited to see how big it's gonna be.
omgeee this is so cute! i made a strawberry using a pattern on etsy a few weeks ago, it turned out good but i like the way yours looks A LOT more! so i just bought the yarn you used and will be making this one too 🍓 i'm excited!!
So one thing I love about you ❤️ is that you are very good at this, and I see others crocheter they all ways confused 😕 why because they are going fast in videos and i also se in beginners tutorial same like that. But. I think this video is so easy for beginners tutorial ❤😃😃
@@hannahavelino3551 hmm, I’m really sorry! I have no idea! I had red heart yarn and it only took a bit of the Val, I could easily make one and maybe two more with the remaining stuff. Sorry!!
I just finished making it. The instructions were pretty clear except for the white seeds. I inserted the needle through the top of the strawberry. If I had to do it again, I may put the seeds in the strawberry before stuffing it.
This tutorial is really helpful and the instruction are very clear and easy to follow. Tysm for this!❤️Oh, and I tried to make one and it came out AMAZING! My mom almost couldn’t believe it it was made by me😂
Omg this is so cute and adorable. It is a bit small but who cares. I made it into a chocolate dipped strawberry instead to spice things up but, thank you❤❤❤
This is such a helpful tut!! I love the way the pattern is written, and I love how soothing your voice is as you explain how to create this beautiful masterpiece. This is the first video I've seen from you, and definitely will not be the last. The size is perfect, I'm still creating mine and I'm using velvet yarn for a softer plush. Love your channel❤
THANK YOU SOOO MUCH! Now I finally know how to make this, honestly, all the other tutorials I have watched has never been as easy and simple as this. This is so adorable, and I have already made ten in one week! Again, thank u! Question: I’ve been doing it with the Bernal chunky yarn, but I moved to Melbourne. And now the only yarn store I go to is Lincraft. They don’t have the Bernal chunky yarn, is there a possibility that you can make the same size strawberry but with thinner yarn?
I'm currently making it with thinner yarn. It works fine! The strawberry just ends up a bit (or a lot) smaller. You could also crochet two threads at the same time to make it thicker :)
Yesterday at a birthday party with my family I told my aunt about this pattern and she loved it. She was the one who taught me how to crochet. The thing is she loved it so she asked me for the pattern, but our mothertonge isn't English but Spanish, so I took the time to translate it for her, and I thought, why not share it in the comments? @19:52 do you begin by knotting the seed yarn somewhere, or do you just weave it through the inside to begin? Would you mind explaining the very beginning of working with the seed yarn? I’m a little confused.
someone said they knotted it at the top since it would be covered by the stem!! and then after knotting it weave it through like she did in the vid! hope this helps cause i was wondering the same thing and it helped me 😊
i've just made the red part with a velvet yarn and it's soooo super cute and soft! i have to buy fiber fill next and was wondering how many grams you used?
There’s not really a measurement, just stuff it well so it doesn’t turn out baggy, or if you have absolutely no holes in your stitches (couldn’t be me) then just stuff it to your liking. If you prefer a stiff plushie, which no one probably does, stuff it until it looks like Santa claus. If you prefer a squishy and easy feel, SLIGHTLY under stuff it.
OMF THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS TUTORIAL😭😭IM LITERALLY GOING TO CRY BECAUSE MY PLUSHIE CAME OUT SO CUTE, i thought im gonna fail as usual but your tutorial helped me a lot, i made it easily even though english is my third language i understood everything thanks
love this pattern + tutorial! :) i still have a hard time following written patterns but this one was super easy to understand and i was able to just use the written pattern for all of it except when i needed a reminder for decrease stitches :) mine is so much smaller though! i used a smaller hook size because when i started with the 10mm it felt like there was going to be too big of holes so i switched to an 8mm which felt nicer for me but i had no idea it would change the size SO much 😅 still learning ig haha anyways your great and i appreciate you and your cute patterns!
i absolutely love this tutorial. This is the first stuffy i’ve made and this tutorial was so easy to follow. I love how everything is explained it’s so easy to follow ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so so much for this design I literally made it in a day but mine is not the size of a giant plushie its a small one but I loved making it .Your tutorial was so so simple and steps were very easy

hello! I just finished my first ever giant strawberry, too bad my IG is on private for personal reason because I showed it off to my friends there! I want to thank you here since I can't tag you on IG, thank you for this pattern I love it soo much
Question on the seeds. How is the yarn coming put of the berry and how can you control how much yarn? I had a tail on my first V but then i got stuck with one length of yarn.
ive been crocheting for about 7 months now and that was the easiest and most fun thing i have ever crocheted

I LOVE this pattern! It took me about 4-5 hours to make, and I love it!❤❤❤❤
I used hobbiis baby snuggle btw, and it turned out so good
thank you sm for this tutorial/pattern!!! i love my giant straw-baby🥹🫶🏻
15:09 just marking where I left off, has turned out great so far :)
@19:52 do you begin by knotting the seed yarn somewhere, or do you just weave it through the inside to begin? Would you mind explaining the very beginning of working with the seed yarn? I’m a little confused.
I’m confused too did you ever figure it out?
@@brit731 I just knotted it at the top where I knew it’d be covered by the stem/leaves.
@@punkpersonifiedhow did you knot it? What was the process
Very easy to follow along and a VERY cute pattern !
It took me about 15hrs to make and it turned out so nice! I should have added more stuffing though cuz it doesn't hold the shape when holding
Love this, can’t wait to try! ❤
This came out super cute! I’ve never crocheted before but this definitely makes me want to give it a go! Thanks for sharing 🩷🍓
How do you initially attach the white yarn for the seeds?
Did you ever find an answer? I'm wondering the same.
@@marastarnes8442 I'm also wondering that 😅 I might move onto the stem in the meantime.
someone said they knotted it at the top since it would be covered by the stem!! and then after knotting it weave it through like she did in the vid! hope this helps cause i was wondering the same thing and it helped me 😊
I just used white yarn and sewed them on with a yarn needle
i've just made the red part with a velvet yarn and it's soooo super cute and soft! i have to buy fiber fill next and was wondering how many grams you used?
There’s not really a measurement, just stuff it well so it doesn’t turn out baggy, or if you have absolutely no holes in your stitches (couldn’t be me) then just stuff it to your liking. If you prefer a stiff plushie, which no one probably does, stuff it until it looks like Santa claus. If you prefer a squishy and easy feel, SLIGHTLY under stuff it.
Thanks so much for making this video ! I bought this pattern a long time ago ,but having a video to follow along is much easier for me ❤️❤️

love this pattern + tutorial! :) i still have a hard time following written patterns but this one was super easy to understand and i was able to just use the written pattern for all of it except when i needed a reminder for decrease stitches :)
mine is so much smaller though! i used a smaller hook size because when i started with the 10mm it felt like there was going to be too big of holes so i switched to an 8mm which felt nicer for me but i had no idea it would change the size SO much 😅 still learning ig haha anyways your great and i appreciate you and your cute patterns!

Hi, I'm completing brand new to crocheting and plan to do this pattern, but I was wondering how do you tie off/finish the seeds without it being noticeable that it's the seed that you finished on? Thank you ahead of time to anyone who answers this.🩵
😭as someone who doesnt know how to sew, starting the seeds j by saying start with your yarn coming out one of the holes is confusing

Question on the seeds. How is the yarn coming put of the berry and how can you control how much yarn? I had a tail on my first V but then i got stuck with one length of yarn.
