  • NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED (Monogram 506) Born in Santa Ana, California on October 21, 1945, Miss Young would find herself with a hit record by the time she was 15 years old with the Indigo Records single, 'A Thousand Stars'. After sever released with the label she and producer, Jim Lee went over to Monogram Records where this releae, '(Hey There) Dreamboy', would be only solo disc with the label. Two more singles would be issued in 1964 as duets with label mate, Chris Montez. Kathy's vocals were added to a previously issued recording, 'All You Had To Do Was Tell Me' and the two actually were in the studio together for the surfs sounding, 'Shoot That Curl'. Kathys musical carreer seemed to come to a screeching halt that year when she headed over to England and would marry John Maus (Walker) of the Walker Brothers. It wouldn't be until over 35 years later when she revived her musical career playing various reunion oldies shows.

Gold Star, the Wrecking Crew, and Jack Nietchze. Each one could make an okay song sound great.
