Thanks great video!
Batter came out too dry. What can I add to make it more moist. Taste great but dry.
My guess would be either too much flour was added or your bananas may have been a little smaller than what I use. If your batter comes out too dry next time, try adding a few tablespoons of water or milk.
Try another egg. Gives it more cake like texture
It’s not gluten free at all. He used 1 cup normal flour and 1 cup gluten free flour. So when I did all 2 cups gluten free the consistency came out very dry so I had to figure out how to fix it I add milk I add yogurt but still dry I bake it even though I know it’s not gonna turn out good. But please specify before we start so we don’t waste ingredients.
I'm not sure what you mean. This recipe is 100% gluten free. There is no normal flour used. I have celiac and I do not eat anything with gluten. I've made this banana bread at least 100 times and I know the recipe is sound. I'm sorry you had trouble.
It's says gf flour
He needed to add some xanthan gum and oil
Looks lovely but butter is the secret behind the flavor my friend. Oil in cajes rips it off of authenticity, richness and flavor. Hydrogenated oils are pretty bad for health and clarified butter is the best for baking goods. It stabilizes cholesterol and helps lose weight.
Thanks for the feedback. I cannot eat dairy, so I make everything dairy free. For all of my recipes I use either olive oil or vegan butter. However, you're free to replace the oil with melted dairy butter if you prefer.
Did you know that flour contains gluten?
Yes, of course. Wheat flour contains gluten. Gluten free flour does not. :)
Who is this smarty pants?
Eggs are dairy
Eggs aren’t dairy. They are unborn chickens. This is a common confusion though since they are usually found in the dairy section of the grocery store.
