@SteveHedgesPhotography Yes I was just talking about that today with my Wife! Everything we saw in our local area was petrified of us whereas I didn't have the experience so much in Texas!
Cool video Joe! I was in Texas for work a few years ago but sadly it was January so I didn't see any 'gators... I was pretty wary about the idea of them though and when an armadillo ran out right in front of me I absolutelt s#at myself!
@GeoffCooper Armadillo was the very first animal I saw on the way to Luca's from the airport! Didn't get any photos sadly (aside from my phone) Alligators are awesome. Only wish I had more time out there to photograph them!
Thanks! 👍 I did struggle a bit with some unsharp shots which I suspect could be due to the heat and humidity but on the whole I can't complain at all! Well I can! I've barely used it since I've been back!
I have a daughter in Florida and I certainly agree with you that we don’t have much wildlife in the UK compared to the USA. I enjoyed seeing you guys and your photos look great.
@mondujar279 Thanks mate. I'm half tempted to stop photographing the same old species here in the UK and just focus on doing trips as much as I can. That said I can't really afford to do that 😆
@sstu66 Yeah the heat felt next level but I think it's genuinely because the UK was so devoid of actual summer this year and I was completely unacclimatised making it worse. I reckon it wouldn't take me long and I've survived far worse in Afghanistan haha
WOW! Blown away by your video. Thanks for sharing.
@@cynthiamiller1 I'm glad someone appreciated it :)
Many thanks for the kind comment :)
Great video Joe, it looks like the wildlife is much more approachable over there. All the best Steve.

It couldn’t be more different to East Anglia, though probably bigger!
You got some cracking shots there. I hope the metrics start picking up.
@jimwalker760 Its very similar in that it's flat but yeah I'm very much in love with it and can't wait to go back!

Great pics of the Alligators, good to see a different part of the world. Enjoyed the video.
@@sstu66 It was great to BE in a different part of the world! I felt like I could definitely do well in Texas tbh!
@JoeMaranophotography certainly more diverse wildlife, the heat can be draining though.
