A very beautiful lake. How can African countries use their natural resources in a sustainable manner to contribute to economic development? Eg Agriculture, fishery, tourism, sports, energy, R&D, hospitality, housing/new towns/new cities etc.

Lol. You are like me. I have been on this lake several times and even I have crossed it to the other end when I had to visit one of the surround communities and each time I had crazy thought. One time it was windy and water started to get in the boat....come see prayers. Hahahaha. And then the captain had to take a different route in order to flow with the wind in the same direction rather than facing it. Going straight across this lake on a boat takes 45 minutes or more....no joke. Going around the entire lake on a boat takes 4 hours as the captain told me.

Great vid Stella - this place is another ambition of mine to visit. Two hours to drive!!!??? - it’s only 20 miles from Kumasi!!! Eishhhhhhhhhh Ghanaian roads!!!
So beautiful , I once saw it from an airplane when flying out of Kumasi back to Accra.
Did they mention. The explosion when the meteor hit, was so huge there are pieces of rock thrown all across West Africa traced back to this site! - the hills you see surrounding it are the remains of the original crater rim. What is difficult to appreciate from the ground view, due to its enormous size is that the lake is almost perfectly circular
One day I’ll get there ...

You paid the 30 cedis to use your drone?
A lake, which is round, at the Bosomtwe town, they said we should pay 30 cedis by force before we fly the drone.
We got annoyed, paid the 30 cedis, and instead we went to Wildwin Resort, and flew the drone for free. It's the same lake, and there's a road going round the lake.
There's a giant sign board saying they shouldn't bath/wash in the lake, yet they do that, and wanted to charge us 30 cedis to use the drone.
    This Ghana eeh.
