Maybe instead of watching listen to audio books while doing something else? Hobbies are a hard thing to suggest because we all have our different enjoyments. One of the things that I like most about photography for example is looking for light. So it’s not necessarily about getting the perfect image. But finding the perfect lighting for an image. So the work is really the hide and seek of it. And when I don’t have that. It’s not fun to me. I’d that makes any sense. Just got to find something that makes your brain happy lol

Audio is a great idea I'll start with that. Because if you have nothing to look at you need to find something haha. I just have a love hate relationship with being creative i love to do it. But i have an idea in my head. And it doesn't come out the right way i get frustrated upset and I quit, but I keep coming back to it because I want it and then give up again. I did write poems many years ago. But haven't had any inspiration in years. As the woman, if I wanted to go on a date with my man to a specific place, so I take the time to figure out his schedule, and plan it out, and invite him, does he still pay, or do I pay? I was raised with the rule of whoever invites pays. I also have only been a couple of dates because of my poor choices in men, so I'm trying to figure this whole dating thing out.

I truly have been enjoy your podcast and all of the wonderful advise you give. Try using marshmallow extract or marshmallow root tea. It really helps with your cough and loosens up mucus. It works wonders! My boyfriend had a cough he could not get rid of and after 2 days on marshmallow extract I no longer hear him coughing and he is no longer frustrated
I have a problem with the whole video games are a waste argument. If you cant regulate how much you're playing it can absolutely become an issue. I have been there, but I play warzone 3 times a week from 730-9 with the same two dudes I have for over two years. I have never met either one in person and they are my best friends who know more about me than anyone except my wife. I also have a problem with saying they are useless. Most games actually have some element of problem solving or cognitive challenges. Whether designed for that or not they inherently are built into the dynamic of video games. Just like all drugs, the drug does not make you a shitty person, if your a shitty person then that will be amplified. I 100% agree that they CAN be an issue, but the games themselves are not the issue, its the player. Remember self accountability lol

@AJ I have no problem with video games at all ( sorry if it came across that way ) , they do have there place - purpose in life and aren't a problem unless a person is regularly using them to escape or substitute life . And even then , you are correct it's not the video games fault its the user's. My comment was a mere reflection that personally I don't have time for video games, and never have had time for them , although it has highlighted that since wife's passing and kids going off to university I have well buried myself into my businesses , and fixing up my boat, which while not necessarily being a bad thing because it is very productive , working anywhere upto 3 days without sleep has had some very negative consequences in other areas of my life ( a now non existent personal life other that my kids etc who will always take higher positions that the other stuff) . While I understand it's my loss ( I believe you know my story so will have a understanding as to how deep that loss went ) that initiated me to bury myself the way I have, it is my responsibility to move on to be "healthy" and not keep myself in that position. Life is for living not just surviving. Wow what a rabbit hole that train of thought was 🤔

About the story around 1:30- birth control alters who you’re attracted to. It’s become a huge problem for people. So if she is off birth control now and was on it when they first started dating, which it sounds like she was, then she may just not be attracted to him. Birth control can change a lot about you. Also the behavior he exhibits is very unattractive so that definitely contributes.
I feel like that says alot about how they feel about their relationships. My marriage is not great right now, so I tell people you don't want to ask me about marriage and relationships. I am not a good source of information.
