This is funny bc this is my bfs TH-cam account I’m commenting off of but I think this episode actually put into perspective what submission means. I’ve always correlated it with abusive behavior and he’s far from that. The way he leads causes me to be submissive without even realizing it. Just like the person who emailed, he has the final say in where we live bc he pays the household bills and only he truly understands what he can afford. Plus I’m shy and weary of people idk. With that said, he’s always gets my opinion on houses bc he knows how particular I am about the house due to my childhood. But if it ever came down to it, his word is the end all be all, because he’s proved to me time and time again that I can trust his judgment. When you have a man worthy of submitting to, submission is quite easy, bc we make decisions as a unit.

Y'all have helped me communicate so many things to my children that I wasn't able to figure out how to put into words. I know they learn by example from me and their father (my husband of 20 years)but they watch us continue to learn from you guys. And that's so important as well. So thank you

You guys are out here providing a true service to people. A lot of people can't afford therapy or their scared of therapy due to stigma or other reasons. You give people the opportunity to work on things on their own and in their own time without the pressure of being judged by others for having blue hair or looking different.

In my opinion, a reason says "I know what I'm doing is wrong in your perception, however these are my hangups" while an excuse says "I'm not wrong in the things I'm doing that you perceive as wrong because 1,2, and 3". Excuses excuse you of any validity of wrongdoing, reasons just state why you feel you are accepting the validity.

My sisters eloping on the 14th of December, she's only having me and her soon to be husbands best friend there. Our mother has always caused so much stress and unnessacry drama around big events that they (my sister and her partner ) thought just eloping with those closest to them would be the best option and they will do a big wedding later on
