This guy has been one of the few Americans with a level headed view of the war. He could've done what guys like Denys Davydov do and that's simply talk about only Ukrainian successes. Objective views are very important.
Nah I’ve been watching Denys Davydov videos for 4 consecutive months and I can say that he also has been talking about Russian successes but usually he leaves that topic around the end of his videos
He’s still very bias the reason why he seems like a rare non bias type is because most of the people covering this war across social media are ridiculously pro Ukraine and believe some of the most outrages obviously false information just to push a “Ukraine is winning” narrative.

@@baha3alshamari152 in their dreams? They never had any chances to attack belgorod apart from drones or missiles.
@@baha3alshamari152 They keep records and maps of the mines' locations for that reason and for removal after the war. They need to go through those minefields for recon and other tasks. What happened to those guys who invaded the Belgorod oblast? If you like war movies, check out "Land of Mine." It's a great movie about a group of German soldiers who were tasked with clearing a minefield that the Brits had laid out. Pretty cool, actually.
Ukraine didn't break through the lines in Kharkhiv. The russians began withdrawing becausr they were oversttetched and ukraine pushed forward.
That's the same thing.
Why was Russia stretched too thin? If you stretch yourself too thin, expect your lines to be broken forcing you to withdraw.
@@slartybarfastb3648 The Russians did not want to conquer ukraine as the fake media implies by parroting " Russias full scale invasion". The idea was to bring ukraine to accepting a neutral status. This was almost achieved, till Boris and Biden pressured zelensky to keep fighting.
@@slartybarfastb3648 There werent even people in most places. Ukrainians put out videos from that time about not meeting any resitance. And when they did they lost that army.
@@slartybarfastb3648 No it’s not the same thing at all. Russia invaded with a token force outnumbered 5:1 to Ukrainians. That was their biggest strategic mistake and I’m really interested into finding out what really happened with the Russian intelligence services, if and when the files come out to the light. It seems that they were convinced that just a show of force would be enough. The result was overstretched lines. The Ukrainian ‘’victory’’ in Kharkov was in reality just a PR stunt. There wasn’t any serious Russian resistance and the Russian forces retreated because it was impossible to man the front. Practically the Ukrainians took over empty fox holes. They didn’t out fight the Russians and that unfortunately fed the PR machine of Zelensky who treats this war as a tv show or a branding campaign. The Russian withdrawal from Kharkov fed the illusion that the Russian army would buckle, with the tragic summer (n)offense results.

European country on the continent being invaded, allowing them to get conquered threatens other nato members, European stability, allowing Russia to roll through will cause a giant refugee crisis which will also impact the rest of Nato. Where is 5 Star General Macaroni,?
These are probably probing attacks, I assume similar small scale attacks will commence on a much wider front in the following days. The Ukrainians were basically trying to do the same last summer, and then as you said if an opening presents itself commit additional forces there. This never really happened last summer, maybe it will or maybe it won't happen for Russia now. What is concerning for Ukraine is that in the past several months, half a year more or less, the war situation is developing against them. With all the reported weapon, ammunition and manpower issues they have been having for the past few months, you could argue they are in somewhat similar of a situation to Russia in late 2022. Russia back then still hadn't started mobilisation, so they were outnumbered in sheer number of men on the frontline. They were spread thin and this is largely what enabled Ukrainian success in Kharkhiv and Kherson, especially Kharkhiv. But since then the tides have turned quite drastically, with Russia reportedly reaching manpower parity with Ukraine in the time leading up to the Ukrainian offensive last summer, and possibly even slightly surpassing the Ukrainians. But things turned for the worse for Ukraine with exhaustion from the offensive, foreign aid being held up, air defense shortage and artillery shortage, and now lately even manpower shortage. Obviously, we don't have any exact numbers for either side, but it certainly does look bad for Ukraine. Even Ukrainian officials have talked openly about these issues in the past months, whereas we aren't seeing any similar reports from the Russian side at all.
The Russians don't report their failures.
Russia is exhausted. Ukraine is as well. One side gains an advantage, then the other. Momentary gains turn to momentary loses and back to gains again.
Trying to predict the future based on which way the wind is blowing today will never result in predicting which way it will blow tomorrow.
