I’ve come to enjoy your channel, ND. I’m a Critical Care fellow and it’s refreshing to see you and your co-residents taking part in extracurricular activities TOGETHER. I’m glad that Yale is taking good care of their residents. I would be interested in seeing more of your procedural training in the Sim lab. I caught a glimpse in your video, but it would be fun to see what other institutions are doing for the procedural training. I really enjoy your upbeat and positive energy. Best of luck on your Step 3!
will definitely be bringing some procedural training via the sim lab to the channel as i progress through the anesthesia years of residency. its a lot more relevant once i get out of intern year
This world is so small! Stephanie and I went to Cornell together! We were in much different years but she was so inspirational. I’m so glad she’s doing well 😊 Congrats Andy on this next side quest of Step 3 :)
Thanks for continuing to inspire Andy! One of my friends Shadman is also in the anesthesia program with you I think! I’m a third year at PCOM Georgia, but I’ve been following you since my first year and I am wishing you and your colleagues the best in your journey!
The lobsters, eh, no thanks. But those steaks, man! The SSSTTTTEEEAAAKKKSSS!!!! It's torture watching them through the screen and not being able to eat them!
Andy…I asked a longtime friend who knows New Haven pizza what the best places are (thinking about you in your residency there). This is what he offered: “Pepe’s or Sally’s, and Modern … the top three as well”. I hope you might find these suggestions appealing (especially the first two). Keep the faith. Blessings.
Is PM&R a rotation or specialty that is included in your intern year/residency for anesthesiology? I'm 6 months in as PM&R nurse practitioner and have been eager to see a snippet of PM&R in rotations. Love my job and the specialty, but I've always been curious to see a bit of the training side from a new MD standpoint.
unfortunately not for anesthesia :( definitely got a lot of love for the PM&R and ortho world and Yale actually just started a PM&R program and I have a few friends there now so I'll try to bring some of their perspective on the channel

You’re doing great. Keep inspiring us. You’re literally my biggest inspiration to keep going in my second year of medical school!🥹🫶
thank you so much :)
trader joes slaps for good food that isn't expensive. I LOVE the scallop pancakes in the frozen section with cholula sauce!
right??? i never had a trader joes near me and didn't understand the hype but i get it now
Everyday on surgery I look at the subis and say “are you sure you want to do this” 😂
What a great video! I love Lauren's artwork....very cool! The medical library? Straight out of Hogwarts!

@@NDMD Awesome, would love to see that!
In med school did you get the opportunity to work any jobs?
were you a chem major by any chance?
I don’t think I’d be cooking my dinner in used scrubs but that’s just me
eh its clinic. probably wouldn't do it in scrubs from the OR
@@NDMD fair enough!
