Do like how each subsequent section of the ride gets faster and faster. Versus most coasters starting at their fastest and slowing down throughout the ride.
I got on this thinking it was just a standard mine cart ride - I had NO IDEA what I was in for. When the train stopped on the hill I thought the ride had broke down! SO much fun.
I didn't tell my friend about THAT moment on purpose, and the look on his face when it happened was priceless 😂😂 His entire life flashed before his eyes

the best part of this ride is the launch as well as the air time pops following the launch. I also feel like I go faster than it's true speed (34mph). great ride and great vid!
This is definitely disney's most underrated ride. The bear animatronics actually work, unlike the yeti in everest. I kinda wish that the landscaping was better, though. The track layout is good (maybe a little better than big thunder, but this ride does suffer from pacing issues), but the decoration and theming doesn't look as good as big thunder. It almost doesn't look disney in my opinion. Hopefully grizzly gulch gets an update in the future. Until then, I prefer big thunder (all of them).

Damn....should have gave this a try if not being such a coward and under time constraint, looks slower but better scenery than hyperspace mountain imo, hyperspace mountain is so fast I can't really catch whats going on then admiral ackbar says "good job out there"😂
meh.. that ride was ...ok. not american thrill standard but ok. there are a few issues like you can literally see the track switch the moment you finish entering that cave with mountain lion. that ride is kinda a snore fest i mean seriously carnival rides are scarier than that. That's always been a major problem with Hong Kong Disneyland as it doesn't have any real decent rides and what is there is either boring or needs constant repair. The entire park needs expansion or needs to be shut down at least for a few months for absolute repair. The problem is that Hong Kong doesn't have any land left over to expand at all so they are stuck. Oh you forgot to upload the Brooklyn Bridge video as i don't see it up on Theme Park Worldwide or Adventure Shawn.
I think it's a great family coaster with fantastic theming! There's still 3 more videos to come from NYC over on AdventureShawn, the next is coming tomorrow. Brooklyn Bridge will be the final video
It wouldn't be American thrill standard, because it isn't supposed to be a thrill ride. It's a family coaster. And for what it actually is, it does it pretty well, I think.
This ride is in Hong Kong, not America, it is made for a chinese Audience. Why would it need to be up to American Thrill Standards? Are American Rides up to Chinese thrill standards? Also HKDL has plenty of plots for expansion including a who plot reserved for a 2nd theme park. The park is fairly new, nothing needs major repairs, if things needed to be repaired they wouldn't be open. You comment is so uneducated and ignorant.

If you don’t think it’s scary on video ride it, if it’s still not scary ride it at night. That’s what I did.
This is basically Everest from AK....with a different theme.
Except the Animatronics of this ride actually work.
