RC ADVENTURES - TTC 2015 - SWAMP RUN / TANK TRAP - Tough Truck Challenge (Event 4)

- Click to Subscribe! ► bit.ly/JOovvU - Event #4 is the SWAMP RUN / Tank Trap! 15 Trucks test their might against a sloppy swamp. This is a timed event, with penalties being awarded for each gate marker the trucks touch. In this event, the trucks are tested for "waterproof ability", as they are almost over their hoods with dirty muck. Each vehicle has a certain time limit (example, 2.2 sized tires have 4 minutes to make it through the course, while 1.9 have 5 minutes).
Are you ready for some action?! Then let's get started!
The rules are simple. This event is based on Time and Distance Travelled. If a drivers truck touches a "Gate Marker", they are given +10 second penalty added to their total time. If they have to touch their truck, +10 seconds is added to their time. In certain areas they can have 10 seconds removed if they complete the task that is required (example, passing a harder gate).
The goal is to get the farthest, in the quickest time.
Some crawlers will finish to the end, and some will get many Penalties. Who will be the over all winner?!

+paul taylor This event is closed for the moment for a variety of reasons. This year I wanted to keep it a small, manageable group of friends and show viewers so we could focus on putting on a great show. It was free for everyone (all RCSparks events are free), and lunch was provided, as well as prizes. You know, there are SO MANY people that want to attend - it would literally be impossible to run them all. Im trying to figure out a way to allow up to 20 people to attend, but it would have to be through an application or "audition tape" scenario. That way we can get qualifying trucks from all around the nations to come and play. Another thing that's challenging is the weather where I live is SO unpredictable. As you can see from previous videos, it floods here any given day in the spring/summer. Its really tough to plan something in advance (especially far in advance). Im working on it it though.. as I would also like to see more people having fun. Its a crazy amount of work to put on, host, film and edit - but makes so many folks smile - its worth it

on the second person (don't know how to spell name) even tho he blew through the track with no problem I probably would not have used the triple axel even though it made it look like butter the third axel makes it so much bigger and with the tight turns it would not be my choice of mud runner P.S medic I love ur vids ur almost to 1mill subs keep going

you should do a monster class, like you did one year my exceed rc 6x6 would do great in a monster class.
+K.C.'s RC exceed rc is inexpensive and an easy platform to do custom builds off of you should give one of there 1\8 scale or 1\5 scale crawlers a chance. they come in 4x4, 6x6, and 8x8
+K.C.'s RC definition for Coniston is; made or done for a particular customer. the definition for after market is the market for replacement parts, accessories, and equipment for the care or enhancement of the original product and try the world of slow scale crawlers
but to make you feel better I have a traxxas slash with a cc sidewinder sct and a 14000kv motor. It has a whole host of after market Parts
+RC Workshop I see where you r comming from thought. some stuff is not good but a badass 1/8 crawler would be perfect for a ttc monster class I am in the process of turning my 6x6 to a cross between HD overkill and the truck you see on the thumbnail pic

I have a 1/12 scale rock racer type buggy 4wd that came with small tires. Would some mudslingers from like a 1/10 work. Some 1.9s maybe something a little smaller. Just looking for an aggressive tread and not sure it will fit my rims. Also if I order rims and all should they fit
