My father died when I was a teenager. I watch these videos to think about my Dad. I am so happy for the Dad's and their girls. Makes me cry every time.
I never met my father. He left my mom when I was 2 months old.
I do not know how the trajectory of my life would have changed if he was in my life. My mom raised me and did her best. We were talking about this last night; she aaked me if I was still in pain. I am 62 years old and that pain has dulled, but it is always at the surface. Sorry to share this with total strangers, but I am so happy for these young ladies and their dads. ❤

I love the sweet way one of the daughters thanks her father for providing all of the beautiful things for her wedding. Her gratitude was as heartfelt & special as their love. I also loved the dads who said “He’s a lucky man” referring to the groom.
To all the brides that got to experience the first look with their dads, you are blessed. Mine passed away. I will never get to experience this part. 😢

I walked my little girl down the aisle and then reminded the groom (who is a great man) that he met my daughter in Coronado San Diego because that’s where I served as a Navy Seal and then a Seal instructor for BUDS. Just remember that on the bad days.

Unfortunately my father threw me away, so I didn't get to experience this miracle. But I envy everyone who did.
