Speechless !! Wow - The production, Abbado, the Wiener Staatsoper, Cappuccilli, and the rest of the cast, and above all Pavarotti. He's the best Riccardo ever, also in other recordings such as with Solti.
Una genial, maravillosa e impecable presentación e interpretación, no queda duda que Pavarotti es el mejor para esta ópera, y ni que decir del maestro Abbado, preciso, profesional y la verdadera pasión italiana.
I thought Grabriele Lechner was wonderful in this performance. She was a last minute substitute. Would have thought she would have gone on the great things after this. She reminds me of Susan Dunn, another singer who disappeared.

Agreed. She should/could have developed a greater international career after this, but it just didn´t happen.
