Skydio X2 is based on the same groundbreaking autonomous flight technology that powers Skydio 2, but implements it on a ruggedized vehicle that is ready to withstand more challenging environments and longer missions with up to 35 minute flight time.
X2 is available in two configurations depending on the type of user for the platform:
Skydio X2D is designed for defense and other federal agencies to perform reconnaissance, incident response, and security patrol missions. The Enterprise Controller provides ground control compatibility with the Skydio Enterprise App, or Skydio QGroundControl app if required. In terms of radio, the system is available on the 5 GHz band with a wireless range of 6 km, or the reserved 1.8 GHz band with a 10 km range. For its high level performance and security, in February, the U.S. Army selected the Skydio X2D SRR system for final integration in their Short Range Reconnaissance (SRR) program.
Skydio X2E is optimized for enterprises, first responders, and civilian agencies, is the ideal solution for situational awareness and inspection of infrastructure such as bridges, power plants, power stations and rail yards. X2E is controlled exclusively from the Skydio Enterprise App on the Enterprise Controller, and is available with a 5 GHz radio with 6 km wireless range.

This was so un nesceary. Im all for the skydio x2 but to include a video from 5 - 6 years ago of a competitor. So americanized ad! any one outside usa was like pff ridiculous! but love the x2 looks amazing!

@Rob Roy nah not my kind of company! I like beeing my own boss! But since i own some dji drones and have tested skydio allot! The skydio is awesome for what it is but image qulity even though real nice its not a mavic2pro or p4p.

Unfortunately, no, connection between drone and controller not stable , quality of camera low , a lot of lags on screen when flying , video link not stable , maximum range of x2 is 3 km, not more , DJI 3 mavic - the best drone for day light , unfortunately there is no alternative for DJI, I’m disappointed of x2
I rave about my skydio all the time. I own a DJI as well but the Skydio is way more fun to fly!!😎
Planing on getting the 2+ pretty soon, hopefully! But it would be awesome if some of the tech the X2 has like the controller, night flight, and battery life trickles down to the next consumer model Skydio 3! Would be such a huge upgrade!
Why didn't they make the Skydio 2 this but without the thermal camera, enterprise controller, and all of the carbon fiber?

You can order one easily, using a U.S forwarding service, which is how I received mine in December 2019, whilst living in the United Kingdom.

Nope, just a random crash clip we found on the internet. Thankfully DJI drones crash regularly so we will always have epic crash content.
Hoping the battery is better and signal too. Skydio2 not so much.

I would say this drone is geared more towards larger industries that can afford it. Public safety is going to have a field day with this thing lol

well...time to get back to the roots dude......everything from design to third party hardware, manufactured and assembled in the west. Enough supporting China/Asia, and on the side creating more green and environmentally better platforms of production. Skydio is showing the way back. Warranty, support, quality 100% better, and okay, you pay more but you also get an excellent product! Rather wait and save more than buy crap. Been there and bought DJI.....never again. And the prologue of the video was perfect!
