Well done, Kishane. I have a feeling that part of the reason why he looked a bit uncomfortable at the end was just the experience of running an indoor race and then crashing into the barrie. I think this is his first indoor 60m (maybe his first indoor race, period!) and so it was just about coming to grips with the unfamiliar setting. Nothing beats experience and this year will be a good opportunity for him to gather some while hopefully remaining injury-free, which, in itself, is part of the growth and experience process.
@raquelcarter3350 I hear you, but, like anything else, people have to adjust to new circumstances. I'm sure that, with time, he'll get used to it. As you might know, there is no indoor track & field in Jamaica (GC Foster College is the only place I can think of that MIGHT have an indoor track and I seriously doubt it) so most Jamaican athletes only start to compete indoors when they start running abroad, some from their college careers, or as professionals. I guess that's why most Jamaican athletes prefer running outdoors because it is what they have been used to since primary school! Running indoors is unfamiliar to them and might even feel unnatural for some.
He just have to practice indoors at the end he was trying to decelerate- He doesn’t have to run indoors 60 m to prove anything Bolt didn’t even bother with indoors 60 m His calculated 60 m was 6:31 sec No worries Kishane
@colleendaly654 His coach Stephen Francis is not big on indoors, so I don’t that’s something he to get adjusted to hurt himself… These guys are not accustom to running indoors from high school…
some studies had bolt going past 60m in 6.29..and thats without a dip and was en route and not refined for a 60..he probably could've ran a mid 6.2 or better..i dont think im exaggerating. people dont realise how much of a freak he was...a 9.5x is no joke...and he ran it without really having the motivation of chasing anything...if he had others on his tail, Bolt could've ran low 9.5, and a 60 in the low 6.2
That’s one thing he has to get used to and because careful of when running indoors. He has to decelerate quickly and anticipate running up the track and into the pad. I’ve seen guys not do that in time and trip and fall into the pad, hurting themselves.
Kishane apparently ran the finals with a niggle. Each stride seemed to favor the left foot. I will be terribly disappointed if this is something that will set back his season
@dalehughes4269 this has been happening his entire career thus far. That's why we haven't seen more from him. He has been around for 3 years and every year this happens.
@sincereLove810 Sadly you will never see them run the 60m indoor because they just don’t take the indoor too serous .. But the outdoor is where the challenge can but not in the indoors…
It’s not alleged head wind !! Stop the sarcasm- Bolt has a calculated indoor time …. Christian Coleman won the indoor last year and didn’t make the Olympics final

It looks like crashing into the mat at the end hurt him. Theres noy much room to decelerate indoors. When we saw his outdoor 60m, he slowed down over a longer distance. He looks like he ran fast enough to win and slow down.
Congratulations to Kishane 🎉I don't think he should run indoor 60m,he is very fast and a big man so by the time he try to slow down he already has that powerful sprint speed,he can be hurt,u hope and pray he is not ,he needs to run only outdoor
he stood right up. lost 0.06 there.. so maybe hes in 6.50 form. it makes you wonder about the instruments in his 6.48 into 2 m/s wind. he should been low 6.4 here or even sub 6.4 if those were good. could travelling really make him 0.1-0.2s slower?..maybe he lost 0.1 in his start phase?..hard to think it could be that much.
I see one problem that might get him hurt. He's breaking down at the start. And not relaxed. He will probably fix that. But he's taking a chance of injuries if he doesn't fix it soon

Happy to see kishane getting paid .... it makes a difference !
