- This gonna be the final video for the series. I'm going to make The Escapists 2 videos next. It took me 4-5 hours to record this and almost a hour to edit it.Y'all better like this video.

This prison is known to be the hardest prison in the whole game. But there's still some other prisons that's a lot harder in the steam workshop. Which prison is hard for you? For me every prison is almost the same.

The most important thing about irongate is just being patient. Every other prison gives you multiple opportunities to just get free items but a lot of the time on irongate you will see something in a sale or a knocked out prisoner that you really need but can't take
just keep a contraband pouch on you at all times

Yeah. I've only played the Escapists 2 and I must say, this looks really hard compared to the sequel. All you need to escape the U.S.S Anomaly is two fake keys, a contraband pouch, and some cutters and you're out.
Uss anomaly was the easiest prison for me. Even tho It was linked as the hardest.
I'm in Jungle Compound right now and I'm watching as many videos as possible to prepare myself for San Pancho and HMP Irongate. I'm sure the H stands for Hell

I escaped this prison once and now I'm doing it again. You really need luck and you have to keep your desk as clean as possible. Overall, not an impossible prison, but you need extreme luck with the items!

Just finished this escape today. It's...oddly easier than San Pancho from what I've found. You won't have to bother building up Strength or Speed, since you get one-shot by guards and beatdown favors typically aren't worth it anyway. With the mailman job, you can VERY easily collect the items you need from cells and the cameras won't give you any trouble. If you can get a Utility Key, and Contraband Pouch you can save-scum the Prisoner Stash to the southwest of the rollcall area to give you any items you need (rope in my case), and there's another to the right side I didn't use. Best of all, you don't need to dig one giant tunnel to the end of the map like in San Pancho. Hell, since guards can't look inside your cell at night, your only obstacle is the camera, and every desk has at least one tube of toothpaste.
Seriously, _take the mailman job._ It makes this prison SO much easier

To escape on mobile, you will need take a slightly different path.
Because when you enter that building with the red key door, there is no stairway up. You need to get there through the roof of the main building + because of this, you don't need a red key on the mobile escape.

Tip: get metalshot job, it gives u tons of money to u buy things to escape (its easy, only punch the metalshot guy and go to the shower withthout getting the attention of the guards, after that start spinning the shower area, after 3 min and the job session ends, go and get the metalshot job)

Team17 changed the map for The Escapists Complete Edition. The ladder isn't there so you have to change your strategy

I know im very late to this, but when you said "craft molten chocolate" i already had that done, as i had my WHOLE. ENTIRE. DESK. full of hot chocolates LOL (not even kidding im on like day 26 xd)
I think they switches Prison difficulty between 3 and 4 (my opinion)
1. Centre Perks - Very Easy
2. Stalag Flug - Easy
3. Jungle Compound - Easy Moderate
4. Shankton State Pen - High Moderate
5. San Pacho - Hard
6. HMP Irongate - Very Hard
I didnt need a vent cover. I got out the main body of the prison by using staff key and contraband pouch.

why is hmp irongate shorter and easier to escape out of than san pancho, makes no sense. This feels like the other prisons but san pancho was literally a waiting simulator

How did you manage to get 100% average heat and get away with it???
everytime I got heat I would just let them catch me, and when they do the heat would immediately rise up to 100%
Dude on mobile there aren’t cameras in every cell and the guards just have regular batons so you can kill them all grab red key and leave with the raft I did it on day 3

Wait, why do we have to use toothpaste or shaving cream to deactivate camera? Last time I checked it only makes a guard go to your cell, but the guard doesnt search anything and the camera can't bust you by seeing you go into the vent
Actually, if the camera sees an open vent, it would be an instant game over. The guards won't come to your cell.

Personally how i escaped was by training everything up to 100 then beat up the dude with the red key make the plastic key and the raft i beat up all the guards and with the armored prisoner clothes you can survive long enough to make it to the water
