I marched up those steps into Old College in 1985. It was an unbelievable feeling. It was also a rare occasion, as HM the Queen inspected the parade.

I am a Royal Air Force veteran. I would like to see an equivalent video made of RAF Cranwell. That should bring back fond (and perhaps not so fond 😂) memories. Additionally, videos highlighting aspects of the Officer Cadets in training would be a informative for the general public, I believe.

No they train in Sandhurst but they will return to their countries and serve in their countries armed forces. I’m from Nepal and the Nepali Military Academy selects a few of their of cadets each year and sends them to sandhurst for their training.

The last 3 years 3 Ukrainians came top of the class in the foreign intake but sadly this year was impossible because of the war . All 3 of them were awarded swords to take home.

      Anyway:
In 2019 Artem Baranenko - was recognized as the best cadet of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and awarded an honorary sword. He is the first Ukrainian to receive such a title.
The following year in 2020 Ukrainian officer cadet Anton Sovenko received the academy’s International Award as the foreign cadet with the best results in studies.
In 2021 for the third year in a row, Ukrainian officer cadet Pavlo Lacy has been awarded the International Sword by the academy's commandant, marking him as the best foreign graduate in his class.

I appreciate Pakistan is part of the Commonwealth, but they are a de facto enemy at worse and an untrustworthy friend at best so I’d be pretty annoyed if I had to salute their chief of staff and who thought it was appropriate having him staged in the Queen in the first place. - gross error of judgement and should be sacked
