Stacklands is a village builder where you stack cards to collect food, build structures, and fight creatures. 🃏 For example, dragging a Villager card on top of a Berry Bush card will spawn Berry cards which the villagers can eat to survive. 🃏 Play your cards right and expand your village!

Im surprised the DLC adds much more ideas and challenges in this simple card game. I wish Blitz do them all, the Curse of Death also seems fun.
"dangerously low on food" happens when you decide to farm the least efficient food source in the game because it requires a tiny bit less micromanagement. Ignoring the middle step, tomatoes produce two edible produce and one to replant, onions only produce one edible produce and one to replant, so tomatoes are twice as efficient, then apples produce as many as tomatoes but are twice as filling, so apples are 4x better than onions
He also keeps killing the goose by pounding flour without replanting the wheat, sticking to terrible food sources
But onions sells for more money which turns in to happiness

For those who also don't know, The Windowpane Test is a test used in baking, when making dough, if the gluten is developed enough, the dough should hold itself together when stretched thin enough for light to pass through without any tears forming.

i started the series stackland and finished it yesterday , and today is a stackland video : I'm happy ! maybe I will lift my curse of sadness too !
I pause everything whenever something finishes or when i start the new day or when i rearrange things and buy and open packs…It makes a big difference in playing when you have a moment to think! The resource chest hold all of on resource type, like wood. Its a nice way to keep the board clean. Also why didn’t you build a marketplace? Wheat farm, baking bread, so much gold! 😅 or a mill to auto grind the wheat to flour? Also 2 eggs in the oven = omelets, good money, good food!
I just think blitz play mostly for content with some degree of strategy to it.
He doesnt play much with Min/Max-ing
Personally, I just stick with 15 second cycles. Sure, I lose a bit of production when some villagers are doing nothing but it minimizes the need to pause while giving me plenty of chances to get things organized when I do pause.
What you call the hardest challenge, I call a coin farm. You have apples for food, no enemies to worry about and as long as you build a few charities every happiness can be used to produce 2 more happiness. Not only that but the low cost packs contain high value resources meaning that a brickyard and sawmill are a lot lower down the priority list than normal. This honestly looks easier than the base game.
Btw, by pressing "e" you can align the cards with the grid. Took me until I saw it in a video before I realized that was the case. That alone would probably have been enough to beat the challenge on your first try as it allows you to organize things much more easily. In fact, with your minimum pausing playstyle (no idea why you do that) it would make a world of difference.
Its definitely not easier early game. Also you can use gold and other tools to make an automatic farm where you automatically get food, gold, and resources.
Who's gonna tell him that if he keeps at stock pile enough of happiness for the villagers and sells the rest of the happiness he would have enough to to make a clown jealous, still love the vid blitz you're hilarious to watch
I also commented this.... It feels like a way easier challenge than the curse of greed, if you use the sell happiness tactics

onions? apple is much better and faster to grow + you can turn it into salad and that's just easy and op :D onions are too slow
In this challenge wheat is better I think. Two wheat make essentially 8 food which is massive. But I agree, onions are definately the worst option. He even unlocked the flour mill and said "Nah, I don't want to do that." and went right back to planting onions :D

Charity basically transform 1 coin into 3 coins, so you can just have as much charity asnyou could build, give them a lot of money, like 3 at the same time and you can forget about such thing as no happiness and just sell extra happiness from time to time to make money.

Haha, no wonder you had so much food trouble, you should have been using the tomatoes for food, i beat this first try growing tomatoes for food till i got wheat rolling along for bread, then continued the tomatoes to turn into happiness, it made it so easy

In reality, Blitz is pretty terrible at the game. 2 things that help a whole lot are pressing space to pause (I do it every 15 seconds because most things take 15 or 30 seconds) and pressing e to align cards to the grid. Other than that, rush apples. They are the best food source until you can farm stew (high food, buffs), frittata's (buffs) or milk (minimum space use, fully automated).
If combat is what is giving you problems, just unlock a bit of equipment. Wood, stone and sticks can create pretty effective equipment at minimal cost. Planks and iron give even better equipment. And magic creates some of the most powerful equipment there is. Just remember to build a house as soon as you have 2 dirt or a garden to start on creating a small army. And remember to look at what is in each pack you buy.

Am I tripping or are charities OP? 1 coin + charity = 1 happiness, 1 happiness = 3 coins... isn't that infinite happiness plus coins? And all you need to worry about is food...

I was raging watching ITS JUST 1 APPLE K 3 ONIN 1 APPLE 3 PEPLE WHO EAT 2 POINTS WORTH OF FOOD AN APPLE FEEDS A PERSON 1 DAY = ONIN STOCK UP have like 1 or 2 farms on Pple the rest onin tavern + onin = happiness = STONKS
This was the hardest? I only did thus and the one with suckness, and sadness only rook me 2 or 3 tries.
