@William Thomson what? edward wasn’t a complete puppet, he was still a fierce protestant capable of ordering people to be killed. are you forgetting that elizabeth knew of the wyatt’s rebellion and could’ve easily killed mary? i don’t blame mary, honestly, if people were plotting to kill me and my sister was said to be involved, i would imprison her, to set a precedent also. what would people think if mary let a chief suspect go free purely because she’s related to her? mary might’ve known elizabeth was innocent but (and this is according to an actual article) some of rebels were known to have approached elizabeth. Catherine of Aragon was my favourite wives of his. She did EVERYTHING she can to protect England and her husband’s throne and herself against the Scots while being 7 months pregnant. She was known for her beauty but her firey character I loved the most about her. She didn’t deserve for Henry to keep her daughter from her. She didn’t deserve for her daughter to be known as Lady and not Princess Mary she fought so hard for her daughter’s future. He ruined his life when he divorced her his life went downhill from there... He was an ok King when they married but after they divorced he became a fat, cruel narcissistic bastard.
